The Park, Wednesday Late Morning

Ducks were gathering near the bench, hoping the man there would feed them. Lucifer though, had not brought them any food and was just idly watching them waddle toward him before retreating again as they tried to see if he brought any bags from JGoB. Smart ducks.

[[ooc: Lucifer is there to meet someone, but the park is open]]

After talking with Rosette (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomtownies/1614147.html) at the church, Remington decided to take a walk around the town, now to actually find out what was here for himself. He eventually found himself strolling through the park, and when he began to pass by Lucifer, nodded his head in acknowledgement. "Good day, sir."

Yeah, like Rosette would let Remington just take a nonchalant little walk through town to screw up with her whole plans of making him think that nothing untoward ever happened here at Fandom. So she, in all her mad ninja nun skills, was tracking him on his path, ducking behind trees, under bushes, shooing away squirrels. Had to make sure Remington didn't meet anyone that might raise some eyebrows. No John, no Deadpool, no Yuki... No one even remotely...

...OH HELL NO.

Rosette's head thunked against the tree she was hiding behind. This was not going to be good at all....

Remington gave a polite smile. "You're a resident here, are you not?"

"I am new to the area, but not here to stay," Remington answered. "I'm here on some business."

[identity profile] wishfulenigma.livejournal.com 2007-04-19 03:31 am (UTC)(link)
"Remington," he filled in. "Thank you, it's been a pleasure, so far. If you don't mind me asking, what would your name be?"

[identity profile] wishfulenigma.livejournal.com 2007-04-19 03:36 am (UTC)(link)
"Lucifer," Remington echoed, incredulously, though his expression barely showed it. "That's an interesting name to have."

That got some seriously raised eyebrows out of Remington, and, after giving a quick disbelieving look, reverted back to his previously calm expression. "My, you're awfully perceptive."

[identity profile] wishfulenigma.livejournal.com 2007-04-19 03:50 am (UTC)(link)
"Yes," he answered. "I'm here to see how Sister Rosette has been holding up at the church."

[identity profile] wishfulenigma.livejournal.com 2007-04-19 04:01 am (UTC)(link)
"Not at all; I cannot say it's anything of a secret," Remington said. "As of right now, both her and Chrono seem to be in good shape. I've only recently arrived, so I do not have a final thought about how she's doing, yet."

[identity profile] wishfulenigma.livejournal.com 2007-04-19 04:08 am (UTC)(link)
"That all depends on how everything works out," Remington said, then asked curiously, "What sort of business do you run?"

[identity profile] wishfulenigma.livejournal.com 2007-04-19 04:12 am (UTC)(link)
"I see, it seems to have an appropriate name. I will be here for a few days, so perhaps I should see it for myself."

[identity profile] wishfulenigma.livejournal.com 2007-04-19 04:25 am (UTC)(link)
"That's good to hear," Remington said. "I believe I will move on to see the rest of the town. It was a pleasure meeting you, Mister Lucifer."

From behind the tree came a thunk as Rosette rested her back against it and let out a sigh of relief. Oh, good God, that was close.
