So. That was it, then.
Father Remington had just left the church; he had to get up to New York to make a few arrangements and would come back for her Thursday morning, giving her enough time to sort of do what she needed to do to close her accounts here. She explained the situation with John, which lead to the confirmation that, no, she had no intention to take her full vows, but, considering the circumstances, they could still keep her on as a member of the Militia until things were resolved in California. He promised he wouldn't say anything, and Rosette tried to ignore the fact that his expression looked like disappointment in her, but, dammit, he should know by now that she wasn't the type of person to be in a habit, anyway.
Rosette sat quietly in the front pew, eyes on the floor, trying to figure out how she was going to do everything by Thursday morning. She had people to thank...a lot of people to thank. People to apologize to, especially the other night...She was happy to get to go find Joshua now, of course, but...this place...
She was really going to miss this place.
To the untrained eye, it might even look like Sister Rosette was praying, quiet, reflective. She'd imagined everyone would know better than that.
Which is why she felt she could actually get away with it for once.

The fact that she didn't even know the boy's name hurt; people she didn't even know ended up getting involved. It almost made Rosette wish Rizelle was still around, just so she could hurt her even more for the pathetic coward the demon was.

One good thing about going home again. Getting to see Azmaria again. Maybe Satella. Maybe.

And so not going to offer to patch the roof.

She asked it in a light tone, but that was just because she was trying not to focus on the fact that she really wasn't going to have any more ANTM. Stone Ages, indeed.
