Our Lady of Fandom; Wednesday [ 04/25 ]

A small collection of steamer trunks and gun cases sat off to the side of the main doors to the church; occationally, Rosette would glance over toward them and heave a little sigh, before going back to helping Chrono give the place one last good maintenance cleaning. She was half tempted to go over to the baptismal font and break it, just like she had the first day she had arrived here in Our Lady, just for old time's sake.

Eh. She was too lazy. She was sort of looking around and thinking of what she might to do leave her mark lingering in the church a little longer. There was St. Joe Eyepatch, but something...

So while Chrono was disparingly trying to make sure the place could last another bout without regular maintenance, Rosette was trying to find random spots that few people would probably ever even see and leaving grafitti, carving R.C. waz here under pews and Never trust a nun with a gun inside the confessional and Trolls suck! in the belltower.

John popped in, his bike leaning outside, (http://apocalypsesoon.livejournal.com/65306.html) to find Rosette and see what's going on.

Rosette was up in the belltower still, putting something about how to never make trolls tea, and leaned over the little balcony when she heard someone coming. "HI, JOHN!" she called out and waved.

He waved back. "The hell're you doing?"

Rosette grinned wildly at him. "Leaving my mark!" she called back, and waved the little knife she'd been using to carve into shit. She wondered if she should tell him about the R.C. + J.C behind the tabernacle. Definately not going to mention the R.C. + W.W. that she'd (totally accidently) scratched in behind the stairs and then scratched out to the best of her ability.

And she shouldn't tell him that some of the R.C.+J.C. graffiti were about Jane Canary.

"PLease tell me you're not pissing on the bell or osmething?" He facepalmed.

She could probably make a pretty decent case for Jesus, too, considering the whole nun thing.

Rosette laughed. "That would be awkward and difficult in my case, I think, John. I like the bell, I'm not pissing on it."

"How, exaclty, are you marking your territory?"

She waved the knife at him again. "Leaving words of wisdom for the future! Except, tecnically, this is the future! For me anyway."

John facepalmed. "Please tell me you're not carving up the church?"

"John, I am not carving up the church."

What? She was just saying what he asked her to...

"Rosette? I think it's generally a bad thing if you reduce a House of Worship to kindling!"

Rosette's giggle was a slightly maddened one. "But doing that will make it so much easier to burn to the ground later!"

More giggling. "Why not? Who's gonna miss it?"
