Devil's Nest, Wednesday Night 4/25

Today had been fun, surprisingly enough. Kabuto was whistling softly through his teeth as he opened the bar, making sure everything was clean and in the correct place. And if he wanted a drink? Dammit, he was having one tonight.

He had a notepad and a pen with him behind the bar, taking notes in an obscure form of shorthand.

Alanna, half dragging Dawn behind her, came into the bar.

"Why are we here again?" Dawn asked, looking around, but mostly at Alanna.

"Because I want to get drunk." Alanna explained carefully and scrambled up a stool. "And there's less of a chance of anyone being here."

"Anyone like..." Dawn had her suspicions after yesterday, but she was trying to be subtle. After all, this wasn't Xander she was dealing with. "And will they serve you alcohol here? I don't know what the rules are."

Alanna glowered in the general direction of the world. "I'm legal in my home world. And anyone like anyone!"

Kabuto looked up at the sign about the carding policy, and very pointedly took it down. Then he smiled at Alanna.

Alanna gave Kabuto a small smile. "Tequilla?"

"Sure," Kabuto replied with a smile. He got shotglasses and the bottle, as well as a salt shaker and a bowl of limes. "How many?"

Alanna turned to Dawn. "You drinking or just keeping me company and making sure I get home in one piece?"

"Um, I'll have one drink and then keep you company," she decided to compromise, since she had a final the next day.

Alanna figured she spent enough time studying. "Enough that things stop being solidly shaped for me." She decided. "Why do men suck so so much?"

The worst bit...is that I work a 6-day week this week. Noooooes working on weetiny Saturday....!!

I can't D: I'm out of sick time, and it would come out of my vacation. And we're required to work 3 Saturdays a quarter >_< I scheduled this two months ago.
