The Devil's Nest; Friday [ 04/27 ]

Setsuna was slightly distracted at work today as she had a few of the books she'd gotten from Alphonse at the bookshop earlier open and trying to get through a bit of them in between drinks or cleaning tasks. Half the stuff didn't even really make a lot of sense to her, and a lot of it made her just desire to bring her English dictionaries out again to help her.

So the occational distraction of a patron was actually welcome to help her brain rest a bit from the strain.

The Devil's Nest is open.

As the night goes on, Setsuna's trying to make up new drinks that end up having astrological, planet-related names.

Ami came in, hoping to find Setsuna free enough to talk about what Konoka had sent her.

Setsuna smiled at Ami as she came in, mostly because it meant that she'd finally be able to stop trying to get through all this stuff by herself. //"Can I get you something before we start?"// she offered.

Setsuna nodded as she put together a fizzy sort of fruit punch drink for Ami (she'd started to get good at mixing things, she felt), and set down a napkin before setting the drink on that. Still no umbrella, unfortunately, but she did feel that Mazikeen was starting to warm up to her and it could really be any week now.

Ami nodded and placed the printout on the bar. //"I did, and brought it with."//

Did Setsuna really expect any less? She grinned a little and brought over the books she'd been flipping through. //"I picked these up today, too. Not sure how helpful they'll be, but..."// I needed an excuse to see Alphonse?, she continued on in just her head, with a slight blush and a small smile before concluding with, //"There might be something in there."// instead.

Setsuna was pretty sure she didn't have to card this guy, so the drink showed up with alacrity and a nod of her head.

"Thanks Man." he smiled at her. After a few sips he said; "Hi I'm Leo." and stuck his hand out for shaking.

Kabuto wasn't surprised to see Setsuna there. Actually, he'd been kind of wanting to see her. She was entertaining. And he also had to make sure she wasn't harboring any grudges over what he'd done in Spy Tech.

"Good evening, Setsuna," he waved cheerfully.

"Hmm...not tonight, I think. At least not right now." He smiled. "Light reading?" He asked, gesturing to her books.

"I wish," Setsuna sighed with a less than pleased glace toward her reading materials, and her hand went to her head, rubbing her temple lightly with the heel of her palm. "Might be easier if I were better with English, but, even then....a lot of this stuff is just dense...."

Setsuna was starting to think she should have just picked up Astrology for Dummies....

Leo didn't notice mind. It was not an uncommon reaction. "Woah! You're from Japan aren't you?"

"Japan?" Kabuto blinked, then shook his head. He'd read about that, he just hadn't remembered at first. "No. I'm from a world different from this one. But there are many similarities between where I am from and the country of Japan, yes."
