Technically speaking, Setsuna knew she wasn't supposed to have her wings out. They were supposed to be a secret, only to be used in emergencies, or else the Elders got really, really mad and upset and dispairing with her, but the Elders weren't here. And how else could she reach all the fun bottles to play with mixing drinks unless she used her wings? She was much too small to reach them, so she flew around behind the bar in determination to do a good job, because Mazikeen was helping and she wanted to impress her!

Of course, at the moment, she was hugging her again. "Thank you for being so helpful for me, Mazikeen-san! I like you because you're so pretty and you don't talk much. Sensei says being silent means being strong, so you must be very strong!"

Mazikeen...was feeling rather conflicted about all this, but her hand kept twitching toward her sword under the counter.

Which, of course, Setsuna noticed. "Mazikeen-san, do you want to play the Seppuku game?" She, floating nearby, brandished her bokken. "I'll be your second! But you should never play the seppuku game with actual steel; that's very dangerous!"

The Devil's Nest was ~~wee!tiny~~ open.

The little winged samurai girl cannot wait to be of service. And serve you non-alcoholic drinks because alcohol alters the senses and the senses must be clear and precise at all times.

Kabuto climbed up onto one of the barstools...and then just climbed right up onto the bar. "Setsuna! Hi!!"

Setsuna's bokken smacked loudly on the countertop next to him. "Kabuto-kun! No climbing on the bar!"

After a quick darting of her eyes to the side, she leaned in and whispered to him, "Mazikeen-san will get very, very upset if you climb on the bars. She does not like it."

Kabuto just stuck his tongue out at her. "I like it up here." He looked around for Mazikeen. "MAZZY!" He smiled brightly and made grabby hands at the Lilim.

Mazikeen....was just going to go over to the other side of the bar now. Far, far, far away....

Setsuna pouted as she saw her drift away and turned her eyes angrily onto Kabuto. "Look what you did! You were very disrespectful to Mazikeen-san and now she won't stay and play with me anymore! You are very disrespectful, Kabuto-kun!"

"I am not!" Kabuto said with a pout. "I wanted to say hi. How come Lucy's not here? Is he being prickly again?"

"Don't know." Both shoulders and wings slumped. "I hoped to see Lucifer-san, too, to show him that I'm like he was when he was all little! 'Cause of my wings, see?"

A beam renewed, Setsuna spread the feathers out happily and then leaned in to whisper in Kabuto's ear. "I'm not supposed to have them out, but the Elders aren't around to yell at me, so if you see them, you cannot tell them, 'kay?"

Kabuto smiled conspiratorily. "Okay, I won't tell nobody. Promise!" He looked around the bar and looked kindof sad. "I wonder if he's just sleepy?" He kicked his foot against the side of the bar. "'Cause I wanna see him! Maybe I should go wake him up."

"You should not disturb your elders if they are trying to sleep!" Setsuna let out an exasperated sigh, thinking Kabuto-kun had to have the least amount of decency she'd ever seen in a fellow ninja, and she crossed her arms over her chest as she looked at him with an effected, disappointed pout.

"Why? When it's time to be awake it's time to be awake. Besides, I've woke him up before!" Kabuto giggled. "He's okay. I just wanna say hiii..." He cast big puppy eyes toward Mazikeen, even if he knew it'd just make her back away again.

Setsuna sighed. "Do as you will," she ascented. "But I really do not believe Lucifer-san is in tonight."

No climbing on the tables! Mazikeen-san said so!

I have a feeling these will be the longest four hours at work EVER.
