The Perk, Sunday evening

Angel had coffee, he had his dog, he'd made some handwavey phonecalls to let people know where to meet him -

If only he had music and rhythm. Then he could ask for nothing more.

Actually he was content with the whole coffee/dog/friends thing.

"Totally." Alanna said as she tightly returned the hug. "HEY!" Said the cat.

"We've met," Angel reminded him.

Sean went to try to lick Faithful's nose.

Faithful let out a claw. "Don't even think it." Alanna laughed. "I'm going to miss this place."

"When you leaving?" Angel asked.

"Tuesday."

"Going home?" Angel asked. "To be a knight?"

"Yup, that's the plan. I'm heading south with my man-at-arms and then...seeing where destiny takes me. Hopefully not towards dentistry." Alanna said with a smile.

"You don't strike me as the torturing type," Angel agreed.

"Well..." Alanna pretended to consider this. "Nah, no torture in my future."

"Besides introducing Faithful to people," Angel teased.

"I save them from torture! He'd introduce himself otherwise!" Alanna protested.

"Probably by swiping at their ankles and demanding tuna."

"Nah, he just starts talking." Faithful looked smug.

"'nuff said," Angel replied, giving Faithful a grin.

"I wish." Alanna said fondly and gave the cat a loving scritch. "How's business?"

"Busy," Angel said. "Logan's doing good. Plenty of evil to fight, that's for sure."

"Good to hear. I think?"

"It keeps us busy," Angel said.

"That's good. So um." Alanna fidgeted with a napkin. "There's not really cell phones back home and stuff. So...don't do anything stupid?"

Alanna grinned. "So I expect to see large amounts of letters appearing in fires then."
