Post Office, Tuesday (5/8)
The school was a big smoking pile of rubble. So Sokka was just a little jumpy. And the fact that he had ruined all his chocolate last weekend didn't help.
He made sure he was packing boomerang when he left for work this morning, and the familiar weight on his back helped him feel safer as he put on his spiffy hat and opened the post office.
He spent all day looking around nervously -- in case the post office were suddenly blown up by aliens, too. And he used a bit of string with a knot on the end to train and hone Not Tiddles's hunting reflexes.
[Sokka's going to be twitchy with the boomerang today. If the sheriff wants to come by and call him on it, that's perfectly all right by me.]

Talk to Sokka!

He slid the weapon back into its sheath. "Sorry. Thought you were an alien. Hi. What's up?"

Re: Talk to Sokka!
"Package. I don't think there's one? What did it look like?"
Re: Talk to Sokka!
"It should be a small brown box and addressed to me. The website said it was shipped. It should be here soon I hope."
Re: Talk to Sokka!
Sokka checked behind the counter and shrugged. "GLADYS!" he called. "HAVE YOU SEEN A PACKAGE FOR IZZY?"
Gladys -- who had been examining the walls for some very good reason that Sokka had forgotten -- turned around and lumbered toward them. "No I Have Not," she replied. "But One May Have Arrived."
Maybe she was being even more helpful than normal. Maybe she knew Sokka wanted to keep his eye on the door today. Whatever the reason, she took it upon herself to head off into the back room to check for the box.
Re: Talk to Sokka!
To pass the time while Gladys checked, Isabel leaned against the counter and grinned, "So what did you think of your first Fandom invasion?"
Re: Talk to Sokka!
He bit his lip, considering her question. "Well, my FIRST one was way cool, but this one sucked 'cause I didn't get to smack anything."
Re: Talk to Sokka!
"Which one was your first? I have to admit they all sort of run together in my mind there've been so many."
Re: Talk to Sokka!
"A bunch of us went through a portal into the past, and TOTALLY kicked the butts of an army of samurai fishmen."
Sokka smirked and flexed his muscles. "Yep, I took down a lot of them by myself. Quite a lot of them."
Re: Talk to Sokka!
Re: Talk to Sokka!
Sokka punched the air in front of him a few times, by way of demonstration.
"...Sooo... what was your first invasion?

... And at the same time Gladys came back.
"There Are No Packages For Ms. Evans," she told them. "Perhaps It Has Not Yet Arrived."
Re: Talk to Sokka!
Isabel made a face, "The thing is, normal girls don't TK things around in a fight. And at the time, that's what I was pretending to be. A nice normal gir."
