Elsewhere in the Park...

There's a rickshaw cab at the side of the park, looking at Marty as though he was insane.

After going to this school for two years, Marty is already used to the look. And he doesn't bother letting the glares from the driver to speed up his task.

Finally the last shovel full of dirt is placed properly and Marty straightes up before giving the small pine tree a little pat.

"All right. Now... I want you to get plenty of sun. Make sure you drink plenty of water and absorb minerals. Don't forget that your root system is just as if not important as growing tall, okay?"

The driver was rolling his eyes now.

The pine tree didn't say anything back to Marty, but he smiled anyway.

A few moments later and Marty was back in the cab and heading for the causeway with a very doofy look on his face.
