The Perk, Thursday Late Afternoon

They'd packed everything already and there'd been couriers by earlier to take their things from the dorms. The rooms looked very empty with all of it gone.

Now it was just them and a duffel bag each. Krycek suggested a last cup of coffee before they left - how could Jake say no? Jake got his froofy mocha thing, Krycek his black, no sugar, and they found a table to sit and enjoy their last couple hours in Fandom.

[OOC: ~~Wait for some OCD plz~~ Have at!. Hijacking the Perk for the boys to say goodbye. Feel free to wander by, hear about them being there handwavily, or get an equally handwavy call to let you know about it. *sniffle*]

They're both at the table, so you can talk to the two of them.

Jake wondered if he could get Perk coffees couriered to his world.

Krycek looked kind of zen, at this point. Maybe it's the thought of willingly working for Gavin Sr.

They're expecting a pick up.

If you wanna be at the perk aside from them...

*sniffles*

"You guys heading out?"

"Yeah, seems about time," Krycek said, nodding. "You sticking around?"

"For a week maybe. Got nowhere to be, so no hurry to move on. I'm gonna get my phone set up so it can take calls though. If anything comes up."

If any bounty hunters come looking for trouble is what he really meant.

Parker had gotten a *handwavey* phone call, and after John and Aeryn's party, headed over to the Perk.

"Hey, Jake."

"Hey, Krycek." Parker pushed her sunglasses on top of her head. "So where are you headed first?"

"Hey Parker." Jake gave her a smile. "This is kinda weird."

"Extremely. I think the conga line off the Island is only pointing out *how* weird to me." Parker sighed, shaking her head. "Are you ready for what your dad is going to throw at you two?"

"I hope so?" Jake sipped his coffee. "I don't think he'll be too horrible. Not from the start, anyway."

"Hey man, just wanted to say see you later and good luck and all that."

"Alanna took off for good?" Krycek cocked his head slightly. "My phone'll be on too, for whatever."

"Venice," Krycek said, sounding bemused. "Which is a graduation present, apparently."

Lau shimmered in after everyone had gone. He startled the barista, who really hadn't expected someone to show up right in front of her. "My apologies." He turned around. "Jake, Krycek?"

Jake smiled. "Ditto. And, you know, thanks for saving me from evil courier plots and such. I appreciate it."

"Awesome! You'll like it, the food's fantastic, and the city's is gorgeous." Parker cocked her head. "So you're ready to work for Jake's dad, hunh. That should be... interesting."

"Any time. If you get kidnapped again, I'll be around somewhere to come save your ass." He grinned and offered a hand to shake. "Take it easy, Jake. Keep in touch."

"Did you ever manage to explain that phone call from our alleged offspring to him this weekend?" Parker wondered.

"Yeah. Might meet up in a year, but might be longer. She's got her own thing to do. If Jake gets kidnapped again or anything, call me, okay? Save me from my boredom."

"It'll keep me from being bored, anyway," he said dryly. "After the rescue mission, his dad seems a little less of the opinion that I'm the anti-Christ."

Zero entered the shop and made a beeline for Jake, holding out a DVD case. "Your copy of the movie, business partner o' mine."
