The Park, Monday Afternoon

A duck pond! Yes! The pool may have been gone, but the pond would be just as good. Of course he didn't have his towel with him just now so it'd have to wait. He made a mental note however. Those statues looked great for jumping off of.

In the mean time, he just sort of wandered around, looking at the dead trolls strange rocks.

Adam had decided to take a walk in the park, since he didn't have any workshops today.

He happened upon the duck pond, realizing it was a nice, quiet place to go and think. If he ever needed a place like that, that is.

"Hi!" Robin waved from his perch atop one of the benches.

Adam looked up and was surprised at what he saw. Then again he'd seen stranger things back home.

"Hey." Adam waved and smiled slightly.

"I'm Robin, what's your name?"

"It's nice to meet you Robin, I'm Adam." Adam smiled brightly. "What brings you to Fandom, if you don't mind me asking?"

Yes, he realized he was talking to a frog. A talking frog nonetheless. It was pretty cool, actually.

"I'm one of the new students." Robin told him. "How about you?"

"The same." Adam nodded, smiling. "I'll be a junior come the fall."

"Ooh, you're older than me, I'm just a freshman. What workshops are you taking?"

"Well then, you have much more time to enjoy here, than I do." Adam smiled. "History in Action, Building a Better Fighter and the History of Witchcraft."

"I'm taking history in action too." Robin bounced. "What do you suppose history of witchcraft is gonna be like?"

"Oh, that's great." Adam grinned happily. "Now I'll know at least one other student who's taking the class." Yes, he was glad for that. "I'm not sure. I was thinking it would probably talk about witchcraft in reference to the Salem Witch Trials and possibly cults, nowadays, that believe in withcraft."

Robin nodded. "I've heard that a long time ago people thought Muppets were magical creatures, but there's never been any proof of that."

Adam nodded. "I was going to say I never heard that, but then again, it could very well be true that people once thought that." He supposed. To him, Muppets had been something to watch on TV as a little boy. "I think there are a lot of myths that could actually be true, just that it was true a long time ago. And somehow, that belief was lost somewhere along the way."

"Sometimes I wonder just how many of those old stories about talking animals were actually Muppets."

"That's definitely something to think about." Adam admitted. "Maybe it could be all of them, or only a few. Who knows?" He wondered if there was a way to find out.

"It's hard to really know, because no one really knows where Muppets come from."

"Oh, I'm sorry to hear that." Adam smiled ruefully. "Maybe there's something in the library to help?"

"You think so? I'll have to check. There's stories and theories, but most of the world didn't really know about us before television anyway, cause we mostly kept to ourselves. So that's when we kinda started wondering."
