The Perk, Tuesday morn.

Johnny ambled into the Perk, rubbing his eyes and just wanting coffee. Lots of it. He was unusually tired this morning for some reason and needed some serious help in the energy department.

He would not be good to go until he's had at least three cups. No four. Maybe.

Taking his precious mug of steaming black coffee, he found an empty table and sat down, ready to let the morning envelope him in caffeine.

Before heading to Book Haven, Tori stopped by the Perk, intent on getting something to drink. Of what, she wasn't exactly sure yet.

Looking up at what was offered, Tori decided an iced coffee would be perfect.

Oh. Blonde chick. Cute blonde chick. Johnny checked her out while she was deciding on her order.

If she turned and caught his eyes on her, he would smile and be all sorts of friendly.

Getting her order, Tori turned and happened to see him out of the corner of her eye.

She didn't recognize him, so she assumed he was a new student.

After an early morning run, Isabel cleaned up and headed into town for a better cup of coffee then could be brewed in the cabins.

And that was when Johnny waved, "Hey there."

Johnny gave her a quick once over, sipping his coffee nonchalantly, hoping she would look his way.

"Hey." Tori smiled and waved back, deciding to make her way over. "I'm guessing you're new to the island?"

Grande mocha in hand, Isabel looked for a place to sit. Her gaze might have paused on the new face for a minute because hey, she's not blind.

He leaned back in his chair, smiling up at her, "That I am." Reaching across the table, he extended his hand, "Johnny Storm. And care to join me?"

He was certainly not blind and once her gaze paused on him, he smiled and indicated the chair at his table, directly across from him. "It's open."

"Tori Hanson." Tori smiled, accepting his hand. "Sure, I have a bit of time before work. Thanks." She took a seat across from him.

"Liking Fandom so far?" What? Tori was curious. And she noted that the new guys were definitely lookers.

Mac headed into the perk after Goth Class, wearing rather more eyeliner than she was used to.

She got a slightly strange look from the barrista as she stabbed herself while tried to unclip the last of the safety pins from her shirt while she ordered. Mac winced, then fixed him with a frown, "What? It's just a fashion choice."

"Thanks," she smiled taking a seat. "Coffee's better with company."

"Pleasure to meet you, Tori. And you're a working girl, huh?" Johnny leaned his forearms against the edge of the table, mug held between his hands. And his eyes never left her face.

"Getting used to it more like." he replied with a sly grin. "I take it your not a new student then?"

"I am certainly finding that out this morning," he agreed, smiling. "Johnny Storm." He reached across the table, extending his hand towards her in greeting.

Oh. Black eyeliner could be such a turn on. In a dark, come-hither sort of fashion. The safety pins? Not so much.

Johnny watched her in curiosity for a moment, smiling at her comment to the barrista. If she noticed him, he would wave, and be his normal friendly self.

Isabel took his hand and smiled. "Isabel Evans. Welcome to Fandom."

"It's nice to meet you too, Johnny." Tori grinned and chuckled slightly. "Once a week, over at Book Haven." She explained.

"Yeah, I know that feeling." She smirked. "No, I am a recent graduate. Class of 2007."

Oh god, it was her. Izzy. The one Dick told him about and oh hell yeah his big brother was not lying. She was totally hot.

"Thank you, Isabel," he said, more than a little curious about her. "Dick mentioned you to me. Calls you Izzy."

"Well then, I guess I'm going to have to come up with a good reason to go to the book store." Johnny liked magazines. That was about it.

An older chick, oh hell yeah! "You planning on running off to college right away?"

Tori smiled and laughed a bit. "I guess so." He was good.

She shook her head. "Actually, I'm staying here for the summer, TAing a couple workshops and working at the bookstore." Tori explained, grinning. "I'm not exactly ready to leave Fandom just yet."

He smiled wide, "Glad to hear it. It will give me a chance to take you out to lunch, or dinner. Or both."

"Some people do," she nodded. "My friends mostly," she said. "Dick's in my cabin. He's a nice guy." Of course, knnowing Dick, Isabel can only imagine what he told Johnny. That nice guy label could be subject to change.

Johnny grinned, "Dick is my fake older brother. He seems pretty cool, what I know of him so far that is." He definitely wouldn't tell her that Dick said she was hot. If anyone was going to tell her she was hot, it would be Johnny, probably somewhere in the next two minutes or so.

"I like Isabel. It's very pretty." He took a sip of his coffee, watching her over the rim.

"What grade are you in?"
