The Perk, Tuesday morn.
Johnny ambled into the Perk, rubbing his eyes and just wanting coffee. Lots of it. He was unusually tired this morning for some reason and needed some serious help in the energy department.
He would not be good to go until he's had at least three cups. No four. Maybe.
Taking his precious mug of steaming black coffee, he found an empty table and sat down, ready to let the morning envelope him in caffeine.
(yes! post is open!)

Looking up at what was offered, Tori decided an iced coffee would be perfect.

If she turned and caught his eyes on her, he would smile and be all sorts of friendly.

She didn't recognize him, so she assumed he was a new student.

Johnny gave her a quick once over, sipping his coffee nonchalantly, hoping she would look his way.

She got a slightly strange look from the barrista as she stabbed herself while tried to unclip the last of the safety pins from her shirt while she ordered. Mac winced, then fixed him with a frown, "What? It's just a fashion choice."

Johnny watched her in curiosity for a moment, smiling at her comment to the barrista. If she noticed him, he would wave, and be his normal friendly self.

She waved hesitantly back. "Uh, hi," she said giving him a bemused smile.

Johnny studied her over the rim of his coffee mug, sipping slowly while she ordered. If she happened to look his way, she would notice his staring. What? He couldn't help it.

She took her drink from the barista, thanked him with a flirty little smile, and made her way over to Johnny. "So, how do you know my cousin?"
If Johnny were smart -- or inclined to pick up on this sort of thing -- he might catch a note of "Hurt her and die" in Eve's voice. But only a note. Really.
