The Park, Wednesday Morning
Having spent most of the night handwavily keeping Wilson company at the clinic, Aziraphale decided to give the man a little space, and a breather from the inevitable fussing.
And so there he was, sitting on the bench, absentmindedly crumbling bits of scone for the ducklings and staring off into space. He wasn't brooding, precisely, but there was definitely some introspection going on.
[ooc: Open for all your park needs. Aziraphale is a little quiet and mopey today, so be warned.]

Aziraphale
Re: Aziraphale
be followed about by ducklingsthink. He stood quietly next to the bench, waiting for the angel make room for him there.
Re: Aziraphale
if the mun remembers correctly. After a moment, he also offered the Adversary part of the scone he was holding.
Re: Aziraphale
If there hadn't been a duckling attempting to get comfortable on his shoe, Lucifer would say this was a surprisingly comfortable silence with the angel.
Re: Aziraphale
With a nod, he withdrew his hand and dropped some more crumbs on the ground, chuckling softly as the shoes of both angels quickly became lost in a sea of downy feathers.
"This is one of my favorite places," he remarked quietly.
Re: Aziraphale
"Is it? Why is that?" Lucifer said, looking out at the pond. There was nothing aesthetically special about this particular park in his eyes at least.
Re: Aziraphale
He tilted his head up to look sideways at Lucifer, a contemplative expression on his face. "And because there's something about a park that makes people happy. You see it in their faces as they pass by."
Re: Aziraphale
He was silent for a moment, idly watching his feet and the activity down there. "I prefer the beach."
Re: Aziraphale
Maybe he'd be insistent, though, and drag Wilson away sometime over the summer. HE knew they could use the break.
"Do you know, though...I feel rather guilty about it, but I haven't once taken the time to walk down to the beach here. Except for the time James and I went to a cookout down there, but that isn't quite the same thing."
Re: Aziraphale
"No, it's not," He replied quietly. After a long pause, he continued. "Did you ever go down to see it before the humans were created?"
Re: Aziraphale
"No," he said finally, shaking his head. "I didn't go into the world before the mortals were made. Not until I was...reassigned. After Man's Fall. Was it nice?"
Re: Aziraphale
Re: Aziraphale
"I expect it's rather blasphemous to suggest that it could ever be otherwise, but HE really did make something beautiful, didn't he?. I saw them try to end it once, you know. My version of it, anyway."
He'd seen a place now where they'd succeeded in that as well, but Aziraphale wasn't quite ready to talk about that yet.

So, when she saw the gentleman sitting on the bench with the ducks, she had to go and check this out.
Re: Aziraphale
"Good morning, my dear," he said softly. "Have you come to feed the ducks?"
Re: Aziraphale
"Trying to find something a little less broody than the fact that my friend and his girlfriend are badly hurt in the clinic," she finally said honestly.
Re: Aziraphale
"Then you're...a friend of Mr Anders?" he hazarded.
Re: Aziraphale
Re: Aziraphale
He gestured toward the bench. "Sit down if you like. The ducks are good company, especially if you're in need of a little peace."
Re: Aziraphale
It never hurt to make sure of these things.
Re: Aziraphale
"Oh yes, I know. And what Belthazor is as well."
He offered her a bit of scone for the ducks, and said, "My name's Aziraphale, by the way."
Re: Aziraphale
She started breaking the scone up. "I have to make sure. You just never know how people are going to react and I have seen enough fights that have ended badly for witches." She looked at him. "You're not a sorceror... or a demon..."
Re: Aziraphale
He smiled at the young woman. "I'm pleased to meet you, Miss Levine. And no, I'm not a sorcerer. Or a demon."
[ooc: Yes, he did just address Savannah by her last name, even though she didn't give it. ;)]
Re: Aziraphale
"Oh boy... are you one of the Fates? Because, I have to tell you, Eve is really pissed at you guys for dropping her here in a teenager's body and not telling her that her own daughter was here, too." She shook her head. "You guys know what my mom is capable of when she's annoyed."
