Fast Eddie's, Monday evening
Charlie held the door for Adam as they walked in, and said, "The only part I don't like about this game is how dorky the shoes make me feel. Oooo. Let's get some nachos!"

After paying for shoes, she settled in on Lane 3, hoping that stripey socks overshadowed the accountant factor of bowling shoes. And studying the pins at the end of the lane. Hmmm....

He ordered a large plate of nachos and two waters, bringing them over to Lane 3 once he spotted Charlie. "I wasn't sure what you wanted to drink so I opted for waters." Adam would be glad to get something else if she didn't care for the water.

shockerslightly sparkly black bowling ball."Um, yeah, don't laugh at me too much when this goes horribly wrong?" Adam pleaded, with a wink. Though when he sent the ball down the lane, he managed to knock three pins down on the first shot. All in all, it wasn't bad as two were left standing after his second shot.

The first shot, she played it straight, and managed to knock down two pins.
The second one, it started heading for the gutter, and Charlie nudged it. Just a little. Enough to take out five more. "Woo!"

Although recent actions with the psycho with the knife make her tend to think that's not it.
She rolled the ball and this time, didn't put any spin or nudging on it; she could feel a headache want to start. And hit half the pins with two balls. "Darn."
Happy smile.

Yeah, Adam wasn't one for hiding if he could help out.
"Good shot. Bet you'll do better next time." He smiled. And that would be Adam getting a gutter ball. And laughing at it. Hey, he was having a good time. Even if he was losing.
