Fandom Post Office, Tuesday, 5/29
On her way to work this morning, a snowflake fell on the tip of her nose, and it soon became crystal clear to Annette just how much she was loved, by everyone!
"So why do I have to work?" She said to no one in particular since she was currently alone behind the counter. "I am too loved to have to lower myself in such a common way. Where are my fans? I am ready to sign their t-shirts, their various body parts, anything!" She tapped her finely manicured nails atop the counter and batted her long lashes.
"I cannot feel unloved. What a preposterous notion!" She stomped her foot and turned to go find Gladys. Gladys loved her, she was sure of it. Oh, but first she set out the little bell with the note that read,Ring Me for Service! You love me! You really love me!
(ocd iscoming up!)

Re: Annette
"John!" she exclaimed brightly upon seeing him. "You've come to see me! How lucky for you!"
Re: Annette
"I'm, ah, looking forward to tomorrow night," he added with a wink.
Re: Annette
"Ah, yes, tomorrow evening." She's temporarily forgotten their plan. "I know it will be so very hard for you to wait that long for me," she stepped closer and went to lay her hand flat to his chest, "Since you love me so much, perhaps I should make a small, tiny allowance..."
Re: Annette
"I love you?" he asked. John was totally floored.
Re: Annette
"Tell me what special services you have come in for today? Would you like me to sign your shirt? Your...chest? I do not mind, truly. Or is it that you want a...kiss?" She let her fingers trail down his shirtfront, slipping her hand away entirely to settle on her hip.

Box in her arms, she frowned at the note on the bell and rang it for service, hoping she didn't just proclaim her love to some weird postal worker by doing so and that it was just...dramatics or humor.
Re: Annette
"Turtle," she began brightly, "you have come to see me! What a lovely surprise. Do you wish to take my picture?"
Re: Annette
"Why would have come to see you?" she asked, and set the package on the counter. "I have to mail a package. That's why most people come to a post office."
She was going to add that if she wanted to see Annette, she'd just go find some roadkill by the causeway and figure that was close enough, but, sucking in a breath, she reminded herself that she was at least trying to put up the idea that she was being at least congenial to Annette, so she kept it in.
Why couldn't the jelly bean problem had been solved yesterday? Damn that Apu.
Re: Annette
Annette made a small, grumpy face at the package. "I should not be working here. I should not be working at all. I am far too important to have to labor away and possibly break a nail in the process."
Batting her lashes, she looked back at Turtle, "Now, what would you like me to sign? Or is it that you would like a hug? Or to possibly kiss my cheek?"
Re: Annette
So she just stared. "You've got to be kidding me..."

That was why he walked in today. That, and the fact that he was just a bit on the overly cheerful side, which tended to annoy certain oncologists who hadn't gotten enough sleep.
Spotting the bell with the little note, Aziraphale chuckled to himself and gave it a ring.
Re: Annette
She moved around the counter and came to stand in front of him, "Where shall I sign, my most handsome man?"
Re: Annette
"Sign, my dear? I'm afraid I'm not certain what you mean." Then, because he didn't want to be rude, he added, "But...your hair does indeed look nice today."
Re: Annette
"Oh, thank you so very much, you who has such incredible eyes." She said, tucking hair behind her ear. "Since you are here for me, what would you like to do? You may kiss me if you like, I would not mind. Then I can sign your chest for you and you can feel overjoyed with the love you have for me. Doesn't that sound wonderful?"
Re: Annette
"I...sign my chest? My dear, whyever would you do that? But I, er, will give you a kiss on the cheek, if it will make you happy."

"You must be overflowing with love for me. Everyone that has come in to see me today has. They've wanted kisses, and autographs, and just what was I to do?" She shrugged and grinned and totally told him everything exactly as she saw it.
