The Devil's Nest; Saturday Night. [ 06/02 ]

Setsuna was a little later than usual (good thing she was almost always early) due to the detention she had to serve all day, but when she got to the Nest, she was ready to get to work. Last night had been nicely slow and relaxing; perhaps tonight might be the same?

The Devil's Nest is open!

[[ sometime this evening, I'll probably be leaving for a picnic if the weather doesn't crap out on us, but i'll be back for pings after that. Hopefully. Assuming the same thing that happened last night *grumblemutter* doesn't happen again. ]]

Ami came by, as promised in Detention.

And Setsuna had a fruity, bubbly drink ready without Ami even having to say a word.

Which totally made Ami grin. //"Wow, you know me well."//

//"How can you be certain,"// Setsuna asked with a grin as she cleaned out a glass, //"that it isn't merely that I'm just an amazing bartender?"//

//"I think you know me well AND you are an amazing bartender."//

Setsuna smiled. //"Can't argue with that logic,"// she said. //"Give me just a moment, Ami-chan, and I'll be right back."//

She hurried over to her bag under the bar over in the dark corner where no one ever sat and pulled out her Serenity Journal. She plopped it on the counter. //"There's the notes. COmpletely, I think. It's been a while since I've remembered anything enough to add it."//

//"Awesome"// Ami flipped through the notes ~~that we are handwaving, see the hands, they wave~~.

//"You're welcome to keep it as long as you'd like,"// Setsuna added. //"You've more use for it than I do, after all, and it isn't like I have to worry about you stealing it because your room will me my room in a little bit here."//

//"Oh that is true"// Ami said excitedly. //"When do we move itn othe dorms anyway?"//

//"Either this week or next,"// Setsuna said. //"I'm not entirely sure."//

//"I must say, as much as i love the cabins, i can't wait."//

//"It will be interesting,"// Setsuna admitted, smiling a little to show that she didn't unnecessarily mean that in a bad way.

//"I think we'll have fun"//

Lucifer was enjoying his evening at the end of the bar with a glass of wine and a pack of cigarettes.

He was writing notes in a ledger, one that might be for the club. But then again it wasn't exactly in a language known to most people so it very well could have been a grocery list or a note to remind himself to pick up socks.

Best to just think what you want about it.

"Anything to drink for you, sir?" Setsuna asked; she blamed her addressing him so politely due to the fact that she was behind the bar and, sometimes, being behind the bar made her actually be polite towards those she was a little ambivalent toward. Even Squall.

He glanced up briefly at her, then pushed the empty wine glass forward. "The Merlot, please."

Setsuna nodded and complied to the request, sliding the glass back. "There you are."

Kabuto knew exactly what he was doing when he entered the Devil's Nest after being scarred for life (http://konoha-flash.livejournal.com/18606.html?thread=195246#t195246). He walked up to Lucifer, tapping him on the shoulder. "Lucifer?"

Lucifer turned slightly to face Kabuto. "Yes?"

Putting his hands on either side of Lucifer's face, Kabuto kissed him fiercely. "...I have just seen something incredibly horrifying, and I need something to take my mind off it. Help?" There was definitely pleading, almost begging, in his eyes and in his voice.

"Well, when it's put like that," Lucifer drawled. He grabbed hold of Kabuto's shirt, yanking him in close. "Who am I to say no?"

Relief flooded through him, and he actually managed to grin. "I was hoping you'd say that," Kabuto admitted, kissing him again.

Biting down sharply on Kabuto's lip, Lucifer smirked and licked the blood away. "My beautiful boy, it's been far too long."

That was enough to drive any other thoughts from Kabuto's mind. Which was, of course, the point. The ninja clenched his hands in Lucifer's shirt, making a small noise of agreement before making demands. "Somewhere else. Now."

He did pride himself in being quite distracting in that regard.

And with that they were gone from the bar.

Unfortunately, there will be no inspired-by-detention activities like Setsuna feeding you grapes as you lounge here.

Where there is supposedly dancing, although Setsuna doesn't think she'd actually seen anyone dancing here...

New hardware for computer should be in on Wednesday.

....Need....computer...back...now! *cries*
