Trooper Station: Monday Morning

Dale is once again plowing through a plate of doughnuts and is on his third cup of coffee as he reviews some more of the case files of some previous police officers who were once in Fandom.

"Diane? Please remind me to track down a couple of detectives from New York. I'd like to interview them about some of the reports they left behind.

Also Diane, I have the strange urge to say the words "DOINK! DOINK!" every time I turn a page in the report. I'm not entirely sure why."

[ooc: Dale is here for [livejournal.com profile] stocksgrrl but otherwise the post is open for visiting.]

Turtle Wexler was a girl on a mission for justice. When she had a break in her classes, she made her way down to the station, and plopped the little plastic bag withthe pink handled scissors inside on the desk. "A great crime has been committed," she told Dale, "but I have the evidence to start an investigation."

"Breaking and entering," Turtle answered, "violation of person, and the theft of a very important possession. Someone came into my alcove on the night of May Thirtieth, a Wednesday, or possibly on the cusp of May Thirty-First, a Thursday, as I don't know what time it actually happened because I was asleep. The culprit entered without permission, and used those," she pointed at the scissors in the bag, "which we will call Exhibit A, to cut off my braid, which they not only severed without permission from my person, but also took with there, which is theft, because that braid is mine."

Turtle promptly sat. She looked around for a moment for any squirrels, before leaning in and whispering to the investigator, "Tabitha-Ruth Wexler." This was official business, right? She didn't want using an alias to come back and bite her in the butt some how. She settled back in her chair. "But everyone calls me Turtle, okay? That's what everyone knows me as. And I haven't reported it to school officials, because it happened, technically speaking, outside of school stuff and this is so much more important than that."

From her pocket, Turtle pulled out a piece of paper with a rather extensive list (http://aryneth.tripod.com/list.html) on it. "One step ahead of you, sir. I've already compiled a list of suspects as well as potential motives. It's pretty thorough. I tried to leave no stone unturned, but I could have also missed some people, too..."

Turtle was going through that list of demands in her head for a moment. What the...?

Blinking, Turtle sighed and stood up. Well, it wasn't like she was a stranger to unconventional methods of investigation. "Yes, sir!" she said with vigor and a little salute, following him out.
