The Devil's Nest - Monday Evening 6/4

Never let it be said that Neil would turn down the chance for some extra cash. If an extra shift needed coverage than he was there, no questions asked.

Of course the place really didn't need his usually super duty cleaning touch but the pool tables looked like they could stand to be detailed.

After a nice quiet dinner at home with the Guardian, Wilson headed down to the Nest.

Monday nights had been starting to become a bit of a thing, before ... well ... before everything else had happened between the three of them and Wilson found himself missing the quiet fun of dancing.

He was a little surprised to find Musubi behind the bar, rather than Lucifer because his mun can't totally break his brain and ordered a chilled white wine from her. Sipping on the dry blanc, he looked around in a pensive manner, wondering if Lucifer might be .. err ... shall we say in another creation.

No, he had simply been upstairs, reading a book. But now he was there for his usual Monday night dance with the young doctor.

He quietly took a seat next to Wilson, flagging Musubi for a glass of the white as well.

Smiling, with a shy sort of pleasure, Wilson waited until Musubi had set Lucifer's glass of wine before him, before breaking the quiet between them.

"Aziraphale sends his regards," he said softly. "I believe he's debating what exactly he's going to wear in to work tomorrow night."

"Has there been some horrible event on the island that has turned him into a teenage girl?" Lucifer asked with a snort.

Wilson chuckled with obvious affection and shook his head.

"No, he's just very particular about how he looks, especially now that I've weaned him off tweed and beige."

"Promoting vanity in an angel, and it's said that I'm the bad influence," Lucifer said, leaning back against the bar and sipping his wine.

The grin that curled Wilson's lips could only be described as a leer.

"I think it's safe to say I promote a lot of things in Raphale that would be termed a 'bad' influence, depending upon which scripture you picked up."

Because the Father truly cared about such things.

"Yes, those always do serve as a source of amusement."

"Man's greatest atrocities to man done in the name of those who could not care any less," Wilson said with a wry little twist of his lips and he picked up his wine glass for a sip.

Lucifer lifted his glass in a toast to that. "Humanity at it's finest."

Wilson touched his glass to Lucifers and took a sip.

"Sometimes, I fear for what we do not know," it was obvious that by we he meant mankind.

Then, he gave his head a shake and drank a bit more wine.

"But that's a conversation for sometime else. I came here tonight to dance. Will you dance with me, Lucifer?" He asked softly, never assuming.

Standing, Lucifer set the glass of wine down and held out his hand. "I would not turn down such an offer."

Leaving his glass about half full, Wilson set it down and turned to slid his hand into Lucifer's.

Actually using the Infernal Prince's support to help himself slid down from the bar stool, Wilson smiled up at him and let Lucifer lead them out to the dance floor tonight.

Strangely enough, he didn't feel like challenging the Advesary tonight. Not to say he wouldn't in the future but tonight, he was being a good mortal.

And such a shame that he did. It had been entertaining when Wilson took the lead.

Oh well.

Lucifer gently escorted him to the dance floor. (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomtownies/1753616.html?thread=80853776#t80853776)

Once upon the dance floor, Lucifer raised an eyebrow at the choice in music. Within a second it was changed to an Argentinian Tango.

He bowed politely to his partner. "Doctor."

Wilson returned the bow, lips twitching at the music choice and he arched an eyebrow.

It was tempting to ask if Lucifer meant to dance open or close but Wilson figured that he'd find out soon enough and part of the fun was in relaxing and following his partner's lead.

"Lucifer," he paused and then thought of something, something that hadn't occured to him before now. "You can, call my James if you wish."

[identity profile] dawn-bearer.livejournal.com 2007-06-05 02:14 am (UTC)(link)
Looking up from the bow, Lucifer nodded in reply. "James then."

It would have been terribly rude to say without permission.

Smiling, that soft rare expression that briefly lit up his face, Wilson settled one hand in Lucifer's the other resting lightly against the Advesary's shoulder.

Feet intertwined carefully with feet, ready for gentle direction of Lucifer's lead.

After a small pause, Lucifer pressed forward, moving in time with the beat in the music. He kept Wilson in close, answering the unspoken question of just what kind of tango this would be.

Lucifer was quickly rewarded in his choice by the slow sensual slide of Wilson's knee along his thigh as the young doctor actually put long legs to good use and performed the intricate kicks on either side of Lucifer's calf.

His weight resting completely in the Advesary's hold, letting the Morningstar twirl them around in time to the music, dark eyes locked on gold.

Such a spirited dancer. That was certainly one of the reasons why Lucifer was so fond of the mortal.

He ran his hand down Wilson's side, from his cheek down to his thigh.

Re: The Dance Floor - 6/4

[identity profile] dr-jwilsonmd.livejournal.com 2007-06-05 02:57 am (UTC)(link)
Closing his eyes, Wilson swayed into the stroke of Lucifer's hand, some timing it also to the music that played solely for them.

The beauty of the dance was in making it seem as if the music itself had come to life and the young doctor used his whole body towards that effort. Though Lucifer lead them, Wilson used the Advesary as a bit of a prop, spinning smartly around him with the intricate foot work, occasionally his one hand sliding from the Morningstar's shoulder, down across the well cut angle of his lapel and back again.

[identity profile] dawn-bearer.livejournal.com 2007-06-05 03:14 am (UTC)(link)
For this, Lucifer was more than willing to stand idle and allow Wilson to move around him in the dance. Only breaking his passiveness to grab the mortal's hand off his lapel and pulling him in close to pull into a walk.

Re: The Dance Floor - 6/4

[identity profile] dr-jwilsonmd.livejournal.com 2007-06-05 03:19 am (UTC)(link)
Wilson went willingly into the walk, his chest brushing up against Lucifer's as he grinned playfully up at the Advesary.

"Always a pleasure," he said softly.

Leaning down just enough to brush his lips over Wilson's, Lucifer let the music change back into what Neil was playing before. "Always."

He enjoyed the very subtle taste of wine overlaying Lucifer's flavor and tilted his head, to brush a teasing caress of lips against lips.

Wilson made no overt move to step away, comfortable and indeed delighted to be in Lucifer's embrace.
