"Hey, I know that song!" Rikku bounced a little while she waited for people to show up. "Ooooh, that's the one --"

That's when she blushed a lot and shut up quickly. "I mean, I think I've heard it."

"Huh? Oh, yeah! Funny song, eh?"

"Yeah," Rikku said, blushing more. "Really peppy, you know? Uh. Yeah."

Jude finally dragged himself away from his grill and grinned up at her. "What's up? You're all flushy."

"What? No, I'm totally not! I'm just, uh, you know. I was ..." Rikku facepalmed. And mumbled, a lot. It's possible the word "karaoke" came out.

"O . . . kay?"

Rikku peered up over her hand. "Okay, I totally made an idiot out of myself in front of a whole bunch of people, including Setsuna, 'cause I'm a huge dork and there was karaoke and, uh ... you're a ... skater, and I kinda ... uh ..."

"Oh." Jude offered her a smile and stretched over to steal a kiss. "Don't worry about it, bra. Just a song."

She was still blushing, but less, as leaned in to the kiss. "Yeah. I just, uh. It said, you know, skater boy, and I had to, 'cause of you and all. I, uh, you know. You're kinda ... worth it. Looking like an idiot and all. Yeah." Okay, maybe the blush was coming back.

Now Jude would blushing, too. "Yay?"

"Total yay," Rikku grinned. And stole another kiss.

For those summoned by Rikku for this TOTALLY COINCIDENTAL AND NOT IN ANY WAY CLANDESTINE meeting.

Rikku snagged a booth and waited patiently for people to accidentally show up for lunch unexpectedly. Waiting patiently involved bouncing a lot and sipping on a custom-made Jude-shake, and possibly singing more of that song he'd been singing, too.

(OOC: that lunch happened is okay for broadcast, but details of conversation are very NFB)

John just happened to find his way to Luke's. Completely without realizing it.

"I totally meant to go the Perk," he said as he took a seat across from Rikku. "I took a wrong turn, I think."

Aly had a craving for French fries and randomly ended up in Luke's around the same time. She slid in next to John.

"Didn't expect to find you two here."

Uh oh.

John tried to scoot away, which didn't work too well because he was kind of trapped. "Um."

She looked at him sweetly and completely innocently. "Umm? I don't even get a hello?"

Rikku giggled. "Is she mad about me pranking her for your class?"

"Hello," he said and started looking for an escape route. He looked at Rikku and said, "Dunno! I think I have to go to the bathroom. Mind if I get out?"

"Not at all," Aly said to Rikku with a wink. She looked back at John. "Already? You just got here. Maybe you should have a doctor check out that problem."

"We should take you to the clinic," Rikku nodded. "How long has this been going on? Do you get ... sudden urges? It's embarrassing to talk about but it happens to a lot of people, really."
