Johnny did not have a hangover.

Johnny did not have a hangover.

He just liked seeing the black behind his eyes with his hands pressed tight against them.

Johnny needed a vat of coffee.

Some kind soul should bring Johnny a vat of coffee.

He did not have a hangover.

Nope.

The Photo Hut is open for business. Quiet business.

Savannah didn't have a vat, but she did bring him a thermos of coffee. She was being very quiet when she set it down on the counter in front of him.

He looked up and saw the thermos of what he hoped was coffee, then he noticed Savannah. "Are you an angel of mercy?"

"Never been called an Angel, before," she said in a soft voice. "But, after hearing the radio last night, I figured you could use some coffee."

"Oh, maaan, that was...oh, maaan..." He had no words.

Savannah looked concerned. "Johnny? You okay?"

"Oh, yeah, me? I'm good. Thanks Savannah." He then poured himself a huge cup of coffee from the thermos. "So good. Thanks so much. I needed this. Come here so I can kiss you for it."

Savannah gave him a smile and came around the counter so she was closer to him and he didn't have to reach.

And he took her face in hand and pulled her closer, lowering his mouth to hers in a gentle kiss that he was going to let linger and linger and linger until she pulled back.

Savannah was more than happy to run a gentle hand through his hair and let the kiss linger. She really enjoyed being with him.

...and man he was at work and Leo could walk in and..."Damn," he muttered under his breath, pulling back from her slightly. "Work sucks right now."

"I'm sorry, sweetheart," she said as she stepped back. "Anything I can do to make you feel better?"

"Handcuff me to you? I never want vodka again. I am a beer man and I'm sticking to it." He took a good long swallow of his coffee. There was no burn factor for Johnny. "Thank you for coming in, er, did you come in to see me or did you need something camera wise?"

Savannah smiled at him. "I'll see what I can do." She shook her head. "No, just came to visit with you, but if that's not allowed, I can bail so you don't get into trouble with the boss."

Ronan walked into the Photo Hut, interested in picking up a new camera. (Sker'ret had eaten his old one last time he went out to the Crossings, and he hadn't gotten around to replacing it yet.) He was a little surprised to see who happened to be working there, though, and said, "Hey!" Perhaps a little louder than Johnny might like.

"Oh my god, man..." Johnny's head hit the counter.

Ronan knew these signs all too well. "Here," he said, much softer, as he reached into his bag and pulled out a bottle of water, holding it out to Johnny. "You need this more than me. Want me to take care of the hangover for you?"

"Ronan," he said looking at the water. "Dude, I can't drink that. I just can't." He held up a cup of coffee and took a sip while he looked at Ronan over the rim.

"Did you come in to see me?" Yes, of course Johnny was that vain.

"Water will help a hangover a lot more than coffee. Caffeine dehydrates you, and a hangover already has that started. Trust me, you want the water."

He smiled a bit. "No, I didn't come in to see you specifically. I was looking to buy a new camera. This is just a... bit of a bonus. And seriously, want me to take care of the hangover for you? I can. It'll just take a moment."

Johnny eyed the bottle. He was thinking hard.

Turning to Ronan he asked, "Do I need to strip for you to take care of it?"

Ronan laughed. "Not unless you want to. I just need to place my hand on your forehead."

"Oh, then by all means," Johnny leaned across the counter, closer to Ronan, watching him and wondering what he was going to do to take this blasted headache away.

"Go for it, Ronan. I'm all yours."

Ronan was amused at the comment, knowing that Johnny probably didn't quite realise how it sounded. Or was doing it on purpose to get a rise out of him. "It's really quite simple," Ronan said, as he laid one hand on Johnny's forehead. "I just do this, and then..." He rattled off some swift syllables in the Speech. "There. That should do it. Just make sure you drink plenty of water over the next hour or so."

Johnny might have said it on purpose cause he can totally be a smartass like that. In a good roundabout way of course. Ronan's hands were warm and Johnny actually closed his eyes as he rattled off words that Johnny didn't understand or even try to cause he wasn't paying attention. All he cared about was his blasted headache going away.

...and he was shocked when it was gone. Totally.

He stared at Ronan in awe, "Dude."

Ronan smirked. "Learned that one for myself after a night of too much Guinness. Haven't had a hangover since." He paused. "So. For my original purpose... I do need a new camera."

"Thanks, Ronan, seriously." Johnny looked around the shop. "What kind do you want?"
