Luke's Diner, June 15
Any resemblance between Yitzhak and Susanna Hoffs today was entirely . . . intentional. He was bopping around the diner, playing air guitar on a frying pan, as inspired by the bizarre voicemail he'd received.
The kitchen staff had refused his generous (for him) offer of leg warmers, neon bracelets, and a couple of cans of Aqua-Net each, but the busboy and the dishwasher did take the Aqua-Net. Sniffing the fumes was the only way they felt they could deal with their boss's behavior today.
Eventually he called back whoever left him that message in the first place. And the person who left the second message.
