Photo Hut, Tuesday

It was Tuesday, so John opened up the Photo Hut.  He sat on the counter munching on Molly-made chocolate chip cookies and reading  comic books.

The Photo Hut was open for all your photographic needs.

Sometime after lunch, Molly bounced in. "HI, JOHN!" she called. She may be a little excited about something.

John jumped waved from his perch on the counter, setting aside the comic. "Molls! What's up?"

Molly bounced up to the counter. "I get to be in a wedding and we are going to look at dresses today!"

"That sounds like fun," he replied. "Who's getting married?"

"Aeryn and John Crichton," she told him.

"Wow, didn't they just graduate?" John asked.

Molly nodded. "Yep, they did."

John was perplexed. "I can't imagine getting married right out of high school, but then, I can barely get a date," he said with a laugh. "I'll have to congratulate Crichton next time he comes to practice."

Molly nodded. "We're going dress shopping after workshops, but I'm so excited I couldn't stay in my room anymore and then I saw you working here so I came in to say hi. Do you like the cookies?"

"You make great cookies, Molls," John said with a smile, motioning to the bag on the counter. "I'd share but then I'd have less."

Molly pouted and looked up at him with sad eyes. "Not even one?"

John considered her sad eyes. "Fine! One cookie," and he retrieved one from the bag and offered it to her.

Molly accepted the cookie with a grin. "Thank you, John," she said and took a bite.

She looked around while she chewed. "D'you like working here?" she asked.

"Thank you again, for baking them," John said.

"Not really, it's kinda boring," he replied honestly.

Molly grinned at John again. "You're welcome! I'm glad you like them," she said.

"Do you ever get to play with the cameras?"

"I hadn't really thought about it. I suppose I could, yeah."

Molly grinned. "You could bring stuff in to take pictures of or go stand in front of the store and take pictures of the people who walk by." She shrugged. "It could be fun."

"You're right!" he said, jumping off the counter and reaching for a ready camera. "I'll start by taking pictures of you."

Molly grinned. "Okay!"

John snapped a few photos. "You should really at least be doing something interesting," he said.

"I'll do some cheers," Molly said. "Does that work?"

John grinned, "Absolutely!" He prepared to photograph this.

Molly found a clear space and did one of the cheers that they'd used for basketball last summer.

John snapped photos of Molly doing the cheer. He really wished he'd picked up a high-speed camera. "Awesome!"

Molly looked around and decided there was enough room to do one cartwheel. "Get ready," she warned just before she did it.
