The Devil's Nest - Thursday Evening 6/21

Neil was in his usual good humor as he headed into the Nest for the evening. As the bar seemed to be all neat and tidy he planned to turn his attention to the lounge and the dance floor for his cleaning habits tonight.

In the meantime, he made sure the pretzel bowls were full and the bar was welcoming before he opened the doors.

Lucifer sat at his usual table, reading over a newspaper.

Did he really need to? No, but it kept him entertained.

After his clinic shift Wilson had talked Aziraphale into walking him up to the Nest for a drink. Since the Nest signified safety for the angel as well as the mortal, Phale was comfortable dropping Wilson off and then headed off on an errand of his own.

Getting a glass of white wine from Musubi to save the mun from brain breakage Wilson headed for the relative quiet of the lounge. He wasn't up to trying to play pool for the moment, more interested in sitting and listening to the music but as he spied a familiar figure sitting there his steps slowed and he altered his course slightly.

Sitting down in a chair near the Advesary's, Wilson didn't immediately move to speak, simply sitting back and sipping his wine.

"James," Lucifer greeted him, not looking up from the paper yet.

"Good evening, Lucifer." Wilson returned the greeting with soft politeness but as the Advesary was still reading his paper, he made no move to further press conversation upon the Prince of Hell.

He was being a terrible host with such behavior so Lucifer folded the paper and set it to the side. "How are we this evening?"

"Good," Wilson said, since the question seemed to prompt the polite, small talk sort of response.

"And yourself?"

Lucifer raised an eyebrow, expecting a less polite and honest answer than the social situation dictated. "As I always am."

"Good," Wilson said softly, though he sounded genuinely pleased to hear a positive response regarding the Advesary's condition.

He slipped back into the calm, companionable silence once again, sipping on his wine now and again.

The Dance Floor - 6/21

There is a clean dance floor for your boogie down pleasure. Tonight's music of choice some light samba and something from the islands.

The music was from the Caribbean, full of base kettle drums and sultry beats, it suited the summer night even though it didn't really lend itself to any formal style of dance.

Stepping onto the floor, Wilson's body was already picking up the sensual tempo, though he turned towards Lucifer to see if the Advesary might change the music to something more to his liking.

No, he rather liked the tempo in regards to what it cause the mortal's body to do.

He took off his jacket, disappearing it to keep the fabric from being ruined. Taking hold of Wilson's hips, he pulled him closer.

Wilson was inwardly pleased that the music wasn't changed, as he enjoyed the steamy images brought to the mind's eye by the tempo of the drums and the low growl of some exotic wind insturment.

Though he didn't try to draw away, he gave just enough resistance so that Lucifer's fingers might had left behind a faint bruise as he was drawn close up against the Advesary's body. Hands danced lightly up across Lucifer's chest until they met just behind the angel's neck, giving Wilson support as his lower body moved with languid easy against the other man shaped being.

Lucifer matched his movements effortlessly, fingers digging into Wilson's hips slightly. He couldn't leave a plea to be marked such as that go ignored after all.

Pressing a little closer, Wilson shamelessly invaded the Advesary's personal space, lips hovering just shy of Lucifer's mouth as they moved in time with the music.

Though there was a lazy hot island beat to the music, it still served to move them across the floor, Wilson's feet intertwined with Lucifer's.

Yes, he was careful not to trod upon the Advesary's instep.

And Lucifer's poor feet were quite happy for that.

He pulled back, waiting to see if Wilson would keep the nearness once again.

As if Wilson had ever trod upon the Advesary's toe?

Yet at least. There was a bit of a hint of impishness in his eyes that said he might be plotting something for when they ... didn't have shoes on.

In the meantime, he did in fact moved with Lucifer closing the distance the angel had put between them until he could once again feel the warmth of Lucifer's body along the front of his own.
