Pirate Radio Station [Friday afternoon]

It had taken just one student racing past with a water gun for Barbossa to figure out what was going on.

Which was why he was now oh-so-oblivously snoozing on his balcony, hat down over his eyes.

Ignore the many buckets around him. And the water balloons that were hiding in subtle locations. And the part where'd he been the water balloon ninja's pirate.

He was Barbossa. He'd never think of cheating.

Really.

[OOC: Bring it!]

Barbossa may have noticed a redhead trying to be sneaky.

[identity profile] willbedone.livejournal.com 2007-06-29 03:21 pm (UTC)(link)
Willow eeped. Then, because she thought ahead, she said "Oh no! The rum!"

Hey, she could cheat too.

A balloon went sailing up towards the balcony.

"I was trying to help protect the rum!" Willow said, trying to look cute.

Instead of hiding. Clearly Willow's priority check had bounced.

"Squeak!" went the redhead who just got hit with water.

*sail* went the balloon that she threw in her revenge.

[identity profile] willbedone.livejournal.com 2007-06-29 03:57 pm (UTC)(link)
"Oh noes!" went the redhead as she scampered off into the streets, totally open for one last soaking before she vanished.

*Woosh* went the water balloon she threw to try to cover her escape.

[identity profile] willbedone.livejournal.com 2007-06-29 04:03 pm (UTC)(link)
And verily one of those balloons did hit as the redhead fleed like a fleeing thing that must flee.

The park's absolutely soaking. So's pretty much everyone that's in there.

So Roxas heads on into the town to look for dry people. Of course he's fully stocked with watergun and balloons.

There might not be many dry people left, if he can ever get his aim right.

[identity profile] orewahikari.livejournal.com 2007-06-29 10:00 pm (UTC)(link)
It's rather odd for a pirate to be dry, or so Roxas thinks.

There's a grin, since Barbossa's the only person, sleeping or otherwise, that Roxas has seen in a state of un-wet.

And there's a water balloon flying in the pirate's direction. And Roxas is whistling oh-so-innocently. Ohhhh so innocently.

[identity profile] orewahikari.livejournal.com 2007-06-29 10:11 pm (UTC)(link)
And if Roxas wasn't wet before, then he certainly is now.

It would have probably made more sense to hide somewhere other than underneath the balcony.

He splutters a few times, and comes out, dripping wet (even his spikes are lying flat), and looks up.

"You cheated."

[identity profile] orewahikari.livejournal.com 2007-06-29 10:16 pm (UTC)(link)
There's a small glare, and then the tip of the watergun aimed at (and on course to hit) Barbossa.

"Big deal."

He grins, and lets loose the water.

[identity profile] orewahikari.livejournal.com 2007-06-29 10:25 pm (UTC)(link)
There's a moment before the water hits when Roxas' eyes are wide like saucers.

He doesn't quite have the brains to move before the water hits him, and stands blinking under the onslaught before moving aside, his feet squelching in his shoes.

And then there are some words that would make his mother faint.

Possibly Barbossa's mother, too.

[identity profile] orewahikari.livejournal.com 2007-06-29 10:36 pm (UTC)(link)
"You'd be surprised."

He has one water balloon left.

He aims for Barbossa's head.

[identity profile] orewahikari.livejournal.com 2007-06-29 10:47 pm (UTC)(link)
"Score!"

He grins for a minute, and then tips Barbossa a salute before backing up and starting to run.

[identity profile] orewahikari.livejournal.com 2007-06-29 10:53 pm (UTC)(link)
Roxas thinks it's an awfully silly thing to yell, considering what he's doing, but... he doesn't stop.

His feet, after all, are still squelching, and it's probably going to take the best part of the week to get the water out of his shoes.

He'll settle for waving at Barbossa over his back as he heads back to the park to drop off his gun before heading back to the dorms.

That was so worth it.

[identity profile] robinthefrog.livejournal.com 2007-06-30 12:16 am (UTC)(link)
And here came something small and green. And armed.

[identity profile] robinthefrog.livejournal.com 2007-06-30 02:01 am (UTC)(link)
"Ack!" The unexpected torrent knocked him off his feet. "Who, what where?"

[identity profile] robinthefrog.livejournal.com 2007-06-30 02:52 am (UTC)(link)
Robin wouldn't have been able to hop quite that high anyway, but he wondered how one went about getting back at a pirate.
