After closing up the shop, where she'd been very time-considerate and brought her suitcase with her, Turtle headed toward the causeway, singing "America the Beautiful." There might have been excessive hopping, and then, once she got there and realized that the cab was not nearly as punctual, she shook her head and considered writing to the company about their drivers slacking off and the importance of leaving a good impression. Still, she was in a good mood when she climbed into the back once he'd gotten there and they started toward the airport. Fourth of July tomorrow! In Westingtown! Nothing beat a Westingtown Fourth of July! Yay!

Well, she figured, a Fandom Fourth of July might, but, well...Old Man Westing's dead body would be very disappointed if she wasn't there. And so would Sandy. She couldn't disappoint Sandy.
