Post Office, Thursday (7/12)

Sokka was movin' and groovin' as he opened the post office this morning.

Play that funky music white boy
Play that funky music right
Play that--

Oh, hey, there was Not Tiddles. He hadn't really paid much attention to her lately. Today, he decided, with a sudden change of theme music, would be dedicated to being nice to her.

Little bag of bones been out all night
Little bag of bones been out all night
Kitty, you're scratchin' at the screen door
Kitty, you're scratchin' at the screen door
Little bag of bones been out all night
He needs some pettin' and lovin' on his head
He needs some pettin' and lovin' on his rain-soaked hide
He's circlin' round my ankle
He's circlin' round my ankle
He needs some pettin' and lovin' on his hide
Oh kitty, won't you come inside

Kitty on my foot and I wanna touch it...

... Except, after a few minutes, she reared up and scratched his leg though his pants.

"OW!!! Hey! What'd you do that for?!?!??"

[Wait for OCD We 'R' openz!]

A few minutes before closing, Naminé stepped into the post office, looking around quickly. "Am I too late?"

Naminé let out a quick breath of relief. "Yes. Oh, hang on, I need to address it."

She folded up the sketch (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v328/Rellyjean/namine/drawings/sandcastle.jpg) carefully - sorry to have to crease it, it was rather pretty - and borrowed a pen from the counter.

In big block letters, she wrote:

VALENTINE
wherever you may be

and then handed the paper to Sokka. "There."

Naminé looked down. "A few weeks ago. Some people went off to save his world. He never returned."
