Trooper Station - Morning
Finally having caught up with sleep after the whole getting ship wrecked thing, Roy had headed down to the station. As soon as he heard the radio, he'd demanded to know why no one had informed him of the dinosaurs. Ralph had merely shrugged saying they were peaceful. Wanting to be safe anyway, Roy sent a patrol out anyway.
It was less than 20 minutes later when he got their call saying they had run into trouble in the preserve. It took less than three for him to get the other troopers awake and to call Dale over to the station asap.
((Station is open for attack or whatever.))

"Yes," he growled, not liking that there were too many sides he couldn't see here. He took a chance and fired at the injured raptor again, hoping to at least scare it away from their retreat.

Another raptor was being Very Sneaky as it crept up behind the blue snack, not roaring now, but pouncing at the very last second.

Right into the path, as it happened, and the raptor's foot came down solidly on her as it tried to charge.

None of them particularly liked this. And one especially did not like stepping on a squishy mammal. But it thought it had made up for it by pinning the nice meat snack to the desk and looking for a good place to take a bite.

Then he jumped over to rejoin his fellows, chirping slightly as if to form another plan of attack.

She glanced over at Roy and Dale and raised an eyebrow towards Roy's office. At least there, the approaches would be easier to guard.

He reached out, grabbing her by the arm and pulling her in with him.

"Slippery little devils, aren't they?" he asked as he started to reload.

Finally one started to slide along the walls, heading for the office.

"Fast, annoying things," she said, trying not to pay attention to the fact that one had stepped on her pretty well. "I liked the whole turning into stone better."

"They seem to like coordinating," he remarked, cocking his gun and waiting a moment before firing at the closest raptor.

And then noticed something. "There's just one raptor out there now."
no subject
"Damn. Keep an eye out," he warned, fingers ready on the trigger.
