Book Haven - Open [8/1]

Chris headed into town and opened the book store.

And then promptly sat and considered which of the two nicer restaurants he should take Savannah to on Friday.

"Okay I really, really hope the new principal is a demon. No human being can be that evil." said Prue as soon as she spotted Chris in the Book Haven. She paused for a second. "Hi. How are you?"

"I'm okay," Chris said. "Apparently you're upset about the new principal. It's only temporary, right?"

"I hope so. At first I was just kind of annoyed cause she suggested that Phoebe wasn't fit to teach witchcraft." said Prue, rolling her eyes. "But it turned into pure hatred after her stupid announcement saying we can't call her stupid. And she's also separating the co-ed dorms. I'd love to see what Phoebe is going to do after she hears that."

"That's what she said this morning. She's going to have trouble enforcing all these rules she's making so I don't think you have too much to worry about." she said. Prue grinned. "But if you want to practice using your powers on her, feel free. No way that lady is an innocent."

"Yeah, as weird as it was to be assigned a female roommate when I first got here? Summer is my friend and I don't want to live with anyone else," Chris said. "Speaking of using my powers, we should practice sometime."

"We should." said Prue. She felt kind of guilty since she's been slacking in the aunt department. "I've got cheerleading tonight but I'm free all weekend."

Robin decided it'd been too long since he'd talked to his fake big brother. Possibly this had something to do with his wondering if his position at the school was rather tenous, so that morning he headed for the bookstore to visit.

Robin sighed. He wasn't telling everyone just to get sympathy, though that was nice. He just felt it might be prudent that the word got out. "Yeah. She said that amphibians don't belong in school." Also, the more he talked about it, the less afraid, and more determined he got.

"Apparently that woman is insane," Chris decided, even though before meeting Robin he might have had the same opinion. "She also wants to make me and Summer stop being roommates. Even though the school assigned us that way!"

"I heard about that! That's...well I think my mom might agree with that one, but she's kinda old fashioned. She's against men and women living together unless they're married, but I don't see the big deal. I kinda thought she might be insane when she started trying to regulate the radio."
