Phoebe was in a mood when she got to work. She was nice to the zombies and helped get them set up and then... she started writing something on a whiteboard she had brought in with her. When Tino saw what she had written, he laughed.

She didn't think the boss would mind as she knew this plus the proclamations the temporary principal was making would get people to spend more money in here.

And she knew that making money was an excellent thing.

Because even if Phoebe is feeling rebellious tonight, we really do not want the internets to explode.

"Do I get half off if I slept in a room with a girl last night who isn't actually my roommate?" Johnny asked Phoebe after he sat down at the bar.

Phoebe raised her eyebrow. "Was it in the dorms?"

Johnny nodded, "That it was."

"Then yes, what would you like?"

He smiled wide, "Just a beer, thanks. How you doing tonight, Phoebe?"

Phoebe handed him a beer. "Just a bit pissed that the temporary principal is trying to split up perfectly good living arrangements. She lays a pen on my room and she is going to regret it. Cole will not put up with someone trying to separate us." She smiled. "How are you?"

"Glad that we have people like you at this school," he said and tipped his beer back, eyeing her. "She can't really do it, I mean come on, she's going to physically force roommates apart? She sounds like an itty bitty woman with a big mouth. 'Course I haven't seen her yet either."

"She can try, but there are enough people here who won't stand for it. That woman is lucky that niether of the Levines have male roommates. Eve wouldn't put up with it and I can only imagine her cousin wouldn't either."

Johnny raised his brows. He wasn't sure whether he should mention that he slept in Savannah's room last night. He drank his beer and nodded.

He wondered how Eve would react to that. Hmm.

"I slept with Savannah last night. I mean, not with her, with her. Just you know to camp out and break rules. Was fun."

Phoebe raised both eyebrows. "You slept with Savannah?"

Phoebe wondered how Chris would take that news. She might have to hurt a couple of people.

"Does Eve know that?"

"I spent the night in her room. Totally platonic. There was some tickling though." He grinned at this, remembering.

"Not unless Savannah decided to tell her." Johnny said, shrugging and finishing off his first beer.

He wasn't thinking about Chris. Not at all.

"I see. You spent the night with a really gorgeous girl... and nothing happened?"

She did want to believe him, but she knew of his reputation that he seemed to enjoy... and also what her friend would do if she thought that her cousin had been added to that list. Not to mention what she would do to him and Savannah if Chris got hurt.

Johnny cocked his head. "She is gorgeous, isn't she?" He said, his eyes on hers.

"If something did happen, Phoebe, I don't think Savannah would appreciate me talking about it."

"She's very gorgeous, yes," Phoebe agreed. "She is also pretty important to two people close to me... and my nephew seems to like her, too." She met his eyes. "I don't think her cousin or her assigned big sib would be thrilled to find out about that." She knew how Anders would react... which meant Cole would react and... Eve would just explode. She sighed. "Johnny... I like you, you know that, but... Savannah... "

Summer decided to head to Caritas because she could use a drink. She picked a good day to show up, too. She had a roommate of the opposite gender. "Hi Phoebe. I get half off, right, since my roommate is your nephew and all?"

"Hell, Summer, you get it for free. What would you like?"

Anders ~~presumably with a Stark in tow~~ arrived at the bar and sat down, grinning broadly at Phoebe. "So does this mean I get half off my drinks tonight, baby?"

"You are officially the coolest person ever," Summer replied. "How about rum and coke to start with."

Phoebe grinned. "Damned straight, sweetie."

"I try," Phoebe grinned as she made the drink and handed it to her.

"Thanks." Summer stared at it, wondering if it was strong enough. "How've you been?"
