Trooper station - Friday

Roy had woken up this morning much like he had woken up the previous day; with a kitten purring in the crook of his knee and another one batting at his ankles. Aly was probably lucky he was worried or he might have been thinking of ways in which she owed him and miniskirts would probably have been mentioned.

When he'd tried to leave the apartment to go to work, he'd found himself barricaded by the two ferocious kittens who'd decided that if Aly was gone, he wasn't allowed to leave them either. It was that or they were bored and Dee wanted to shed on his uniform and Ow wanted to create havoc. Being the dog person that he was, the mewling had been too much and Roy had picked them up and taken them with them to the station.

Which would explain why the door to his office was currently closed, but every now and then there'd be a soft bang as Ow tumbled against it as he played with one of the cat toys. Dee however seemed to be comfortable on Roy's lap, preventing him from doing anything but paperwork. Or watch the kittens. He still preferred dogs, damnit.
