Town Hall [Monday]

Braca's totally been here the last few weeks. He's just been quiet. Now, with the influx of new people, he's figuring he should be more prominent. He was the mayor after all.

[There's a person or two who has some town business and this is for them!]

Joanna had business with the mayor.

Joanna was not impressed with her reception. She looked down her nose at the mayor. "With the amount of money I'm prepared to spend in this town, I would *expect* a warmer welcome."

"I need a house. Preferably the largest one available. I understand I have to talk to you in order to make this happen. I also need to finalize the location of my business." She tossed a folder on his desk. "These are the structural renderings, utility requirements, safety measures to be taken -- all in order and signed by my lawyers and contractors."

She leaned forward and rested her hands on the desk, totally emphasizing the cleavage. "I've got crews ready to move, so the faster we can make this happen, the better."

Joanna didn't mind the stare. She had paid good money to make sure people stared.

"It's a world class miniature golf course -- eighteen holes revolving around natural and man made wonders of the world. There is also a small concessions stand and track for little race car things. I own many of them. They are *very* successful."

"Could you maybe try to be a little specific. We are on an island. I imagine there is a lot of beach. Should I just walk around till I find a suitable bit of sand and point?"

"Fine. I'll poll the commoners as to what bit of beach would suit them. I guess you can figure it out when it's built. Now, the mansion. What do you have?"

"I assume that once I own the mansion, I can make any alterations or expansions as I see fit?" Joanna again leaned forward. There was ample cleavage.

"I'll take it." Joanna tossed a small business card on the desk. "Have the papers drawn up and sent to my lawyers. Payment will be prompt and in full."

Joanna took the keys, doing he best to stroke a finger along the mayor's hand in the process. "Thank you. I look forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship with your little town."

John Shepherd used to work in the Photo Hut on Tuesdays, and Marie worked there Thursdays and Sundays. Now Marie works there on Tuesdays. John has had to quit.
