Yitzhak was behind the counter, looking longingly through a catalog of microphone stands.

The heavier, the better . . . for perfectly innocuous reasons. Honest.

Despite the fact that the kitchen staff was obviously cutting him a wide berth. They had no idea.

Luke's is open . . . and not threatening. At all.

He doesn't actually have a microphone stand to hit you with. Yet.

The one he has now is too flimsy for that.

Now why would anyone want to hit Leo with a microphone stand? Unless you think it'd knock something back into place in his brain.

Why would Yitzhak want to hit the guy who shared pot with him? He nodded at Leo and quirked an eyebrow in anticipation of an order.

Yitzhak shrugged one shoulder in what amounted to a very noncommittal yes, and, wondering if he wanted anything else with that, wiggled the glitter-painted nails of one hand questioningly.

"Nice nails." Leo complimented. "Oh yeah, and some apple juice."

Yitzhak gave an incredibly graceful and feminine flourish of said hand in thanks, and turned around to fill a large glass with apple juice, which he slid across the counter to Leo before heading into the kitchen (with a little too much glee) to terrorize the cook into making those hashbrowns.

The whimpering from the back room might have made that obvious, as did the smirk on one side of Yitzhak's heavily-stubbled face as he returned a few minutes later with the steaming plate.

The terror did its work well, okay? Those hashbrowns were fried to perfection.

Leo thanked him. "Hey these are great Man!" he said after he'd tried some.

Yitzhak nodded, in the universally not-really-recognized way that meant "It's all in the secret technique."

Namely standing behind the cook with a barbecue fork, but being largely silent meant he didn't have to elaborate on that.
