It was clearly time to go shopping for more books. At least the cat in the bookshop hadn't attacked him. Gabriel was also a little concerned about Karal's behaviour yesterday. The boy seemed quite sensitive, and perhaps he shouldn't have been pushing the issue of witch burnings.
