After work and after classes...
Annette grabbed a book, a blanket, and a bottled water and found a nice shady spot under a tree to sit and enjoy some quiet time.
Not that she wouldn't mind being interrupted; her mood was somewhat solemn and Dickens probably wasn't helping. Ah, well, setting her book aside, she laid back, folded her hands across her stomach, and stared up at the filtering light through the leaves of the trees.
