After work and after classes...

Annette grabbed a book, a blanket, and a bottled water and found a nice shady spot under a tree to sit and enjoy some quiet time.

Not that she wouldn't mind being interrupted; her mood was somewhat solemn and Dickens probably wasn't helping. Ah, well, setting her book aside, she laid back, folded her hands across her stomach, and stared up at the filtering light through the leaves of the trees.

(the park is open.)

Hark, were those the sounds of a banjo (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=thEiXbovv98) being played over by the pond? And was that a small green frog sitting on the lobster statue singing?

Yes. Yes it was.

Eventually the song ended, and another began (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oeNO56xNlZo).

Robin finished his mini-concert, and headed back to the dorms, but he spotted Annette and changed his mind. "Hello, do you have any requests?"

"Why thank you. If you ever want to sing yourself, I'd gladly accompany you."

"Okay, I understand." Then, he strummed a bit and sang some more.

"Hey there Delilah, what's it like in New York City, you're a thousand miles away but girl tonight you look so pretty yes you do."

Robin was glad she was pleased.

"Times Square can't shine as bright as you, I swear it's true." He got through the whole song and realized he'd just sung a love song to her.

"Thank you." he he said bashfully, looking down. "It seemed to fit the company."

"I try." he giggled. Wow it was a good thing he was sitting down, when she looked at him like that he felt like he might get weak in the knees.
