Sean opened the shop on time and took up a position behind the counter instead of hiding out back in his office. He was in a good mood, thanks to the fact that business was slowly but steadily picking up.

The help wanted signs were still in the windows.

Browse around, Sean will notice you if you look especially lost or clueless.

Robin needed a skateboard. And possibly weetiny protective gear as well.

Sean didn't notice Robin at first -- which really you couldn't blame him for -- but when he did finally see the frog, he wasn't at all surprised to see a frog wandering through the store.

He made his way over to Robin. "What can I help you find?" he asked with a smile.

"Hi! I'm looking for a skateboard, and if by some chance you have pads and/or a helmet my size, that'd be great."

Find him at the front counter.

Savannah leaned on the counter with a bright smile.

"So, what's a little sister need to do to work in her big brother's store?"

Not that she needed the money, Benicio and Jeremy had made sure that she was well taken care of and didn't need to worry about anything. However, her questioning of Sean's friend before had told her that Sean worked too much.

Thus, Savannah... pretending to job hunt.

"Well, for starters, come to big brother and ask for a job," Sean retorted with a grin. "Because he can't hire her if he doesn't know that she needs a job."

"What about if I just want a job?" She grinned at him. "Besides, it'll give me a chance not to be completely bored when I'm not in class -- and make sure you're taking care of yourself."

"Yeah, 'cause you getting bored is a bad thing," he agreed. "And hey, who says I'm not taking care of myself?"

Savannah gave him a look.

"So I'm working a lot," he said defensively. "So what?"

She raised her eyebrow. "You're running yourself ragged is what."

"Not like I've got much else to do," he said with a shrug. "It's not like I've got family here to worry about. I mean, I have you here, but I don't have to worry about you. You actually like me. Rest of the family? Not so much. And now that I'm away from them, that actually takes avoiding the family off my list of hobbies."

Savannah smiled. "You're my big brother, and you don't want to kill me, so of course I like you." She gave him a serious look. "Really though, let me help you out here."

"You'll have to fill out an application," he said. "Complete and utter formality, of course, but it's just to be fair."

Though really, she could fill it out as Sheba, Queen of the Zulu and he'd still hire her. Tease her mercilessly, but hire her.

This was Savannah. She probably would fill out the application like that, just because she could.

"Of course."

Because the world's not ending on my watch.
