Bluth Family Original Banana Stand, Saturday, 9/8

George Michael Bluth was going to wait until Monday to start work. It was just that he didn't have anything else to do since he unpacked and set up his room yesterday. He couldn't stand around and wonder about what Miss Connell told him about other Bluth's being in town. It was inconceivable. He came here to get away from his family, not join them.

He set up the stand, put on his apron, and was ready for the first customer.

George Michael was nervous. He kind of wished Maeby was here.

Willow was walking through town when she noticed the banana stand. She came over to have a look. "Is it okay to be here if it's not lunchtime?"

"You won't get in trouble for that?" Willow asked. "Because lunchtime foods are for lunch and eating them outside of lunch is rule-breaking and rule-breaking leads to being kicked out of school and ruining you entire life. Not to mention your apetite."

Willow shook her head. "No, she's back home in Sunnydale. Actually there are greater odds that she's off at a conference that is work-related in some way, but overall she's there and I'm here and there isn't much in the way of overlappingness."

"People know," Willow said, because she was convinced of this. "It's like the tell-tale heart only with bananas, or pretzels if that's more your thing."

"I haven't buried any bananas under floorboards," Willow said, as though that was an answer. "Of course I haven't killed any either. And if I did I wouldn't bury them under floorboards because there's the issue of them rotting. Which bodies do as well which is why if I did kill someone I'd probably aim for something more like a dumpster."

"But it's not on the vine anymore," Willow pointed out. "And once it's in my tummy I'm pretty sure it becomes an ex-banana. Though thankfully there's no screaming."

Not that Willow didn't occasionally wonder about bananas screaming in ways only other bananas could hear.

Billy, intruiged, came over to investigate. "Okay, I think I get what some of that is," he said, indicating the menu. "But a lot of it might require some explaining."

"Probably. What's a George Daddy?"

"Pleased to meet you Mr. Manager, and I'll try one of those. It sounds good."

"Uh, go witha medium this time. I gotta say, this is the most unique foot stand I've ever seen."

"There you go." Billy handed over the money, and took the banana treat. "Looks good."

"I certainly will." Billy assured him, then he tried a bite of the banana, and smiled. "Oh yeah. I definitely will."
