Savannah got to the store early for her first day of work.

She let herself in with the key and wandered the store to make sure that everything looked alright and was in the proper place.

With a grin, she flipped the sign to "Open" and set herself up behind the counter.

Sometime during the day while Savannah was behind the counter, a lovely bouquet (http://www.ftd.com/5970/catalog/product.epl?product_id=FFDL) of flowers was delivered via ~~ncp delivery person~~.

Savannah smiled for the rest of the day. She really had the best boyfriend ever.

Shawn came in at some point in the afternoon, out of curiosity mostly. He stopped poking at basketballs when he saw Savannah and made his way over.

"Hey, Savannah," he greeted giving her a quick smile.

She looked up from where she was playing with the flowers.

"Shawn, hey!" She grinned. "Good to see that you're back."

"Safe and sound and all that." He grinned. Yeah, other than that little issue with the government, all good.

"You're selling sports things now?" he asked looking around.

Savannah beamed. "It's my older brother's store. He tracked me down ehre and decided to stay near by."

"Oh. Nice." Shawn grinned. "Here to make sure you stay out of trouble?" he teased.

Savannah grinned at him. "I think that would be a job for more than one brother," she teased back.

"Guess he better be extra good at his brotherly duties, huh," Shawn said.

"Summer went nicely for you after I left?" he asked curiously.

Savannah gave him a smile. "For the most part, yes. And, I have a boyfriend now." She might be bouncing about this.

"Oh?" Shawn grinned at her enthusiasm. "Who's this guy, and do you need someone to threaten him?"

"Johnny Storm." She grinned. She liked this having good friends that were guys thing.

"Sounds familiar," Shawn said after a moment. "Seems like it's going well, at least?"

"So far," she nodded. "He sent me these flowers this morning."

"I've heard that's always a good start." Shawn grinned.

"One day, I might actually get my head around doing some of these grand gestures," he continued. "I think I've been slacking."

"Well, since you're back, you could start by taking your girl out for a night on the town... dinner, dancing."

Shawn kind of felt like he should be taking notes here. "Think that.. .might make up a little bit for not really being around the last few weeks?"

"That's a start."

"A start is good enough for me," Shawn decided, nodding slightly.

"Dating guru, I might be back for more help sometime," he said with a little grin.

Savannah grinned at him. "I'm here Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays."

"I'll have to come drop by and see you again," he said. "These retail jobs, got to get a bit dull if you're sat here all day."

"Yes, and we know that me getting bored can be a very bad thing."

"Ohh, yeah," Shawn said, a little smirk appearing. "Don't think I've witnessed it yet, but that might well be a good thing."

Savannah laughed. "You probably will."

"I'll just have to wait and see, I guess," Shawn said. "I guess I'll leave you to get back to work, I'm distracting you from selling baseball bats and such."

"Okay, Shawn. Glad to have you back."

"Glad to be back," Shawn said as he started towards the exit. "See you around, Savannah."
