Career Choices, Wednesday, period 4 - Week 2

When the students entered the Danger Shop, they saw first two doors with their names and role on:

Superheroes:
James P. Sullivan
River Tam
Cassandra Cain

Supervillains:
Will Vandom
Cedric Diggory
Teddy Altman

Once they entered through the door, they would find moddable outfits suitable for their new profession. Once they had finished changing, they would enter into a scene and be given a mission.

ooc: wait for ocd! OCD is up!

Cassandra Cain. Once again finding that illiteracy makes things really hard when you're in school. Her eyes shifted back and forth between the two doors, trying to figure out which one she was supposed to take.

Eventually Cassandra managed to figure out which door to go through. She was more than a little distressed to find that her "outfit" which was supposed to be suitable for fighting bad guys and dodging traps somehow managed to be simultaneously skimpy and movement-obstructing.

Still, she had a job to do, and she took that seriously. So Cassandra began moving forward, eyes alert for potential traps or ambushes. This sort of thing, at least, she knew how to do very well.

Teddy was quite possibly the worst evil villain there was. But he tried very hard to channel his inner Doom.

Which was just weird when you thought about it.

But he did, however, really like the cape! And the spinning chair in his lair. That might be why he wasn't paying attention to the cameras and traps.

In that case he was missing quite a show. Cassandra's short skirt showed quite a bit of leg, especially when she kicked some henchman in the face. The rest of the outfit did some... interesting things as she executed various acrobatic maneuvers to make it over acid-filled pits full of alligators and dodge past the land-sharks with the lasers on their heads.

While some of the traps (well, most of them really) were pretty ridiculous, Cassandra had to admit that it was nice to be doing something familiar.

Had Teddy been watching, he might have wondered if that outfit was comfortable and wow that was some flexibility there.

Sadly the skin showing was wasted on him. Of course she'd get the gay super villain with no interest in seducing the attractive hero.

At least most of the outfit enabled easy movement, but River had some reservations about the cape and the bright red colour. She decided that trying to climb along the ceiling, clinging to the waterpipes would be a good way to avoid traps.

Cedric wasn't sure if he had what it took to be a supervillain and, considering the outfit consisted of a very uncomfortable handlebar mustache, he was even wondering how supervillains did it.

But, he was there, in the central lair, trying to look intimidating.

River didn't think the moustache suited Cedric, really.

She wondered if climbing along the ceiling was really necessary, but since no accidents had happened yet, she continued.

The mustache so started irritating his face, that he took his attention away from the cameras to attempt to get the bloody thing off.

Of course, the glue was very adhesive and it ended up hurting more than anything.

Will was surprised that she was assigned the role of "supervillain", and even more so to discover that her costume included more capes and technological doodads than were really necessary. Still, she wanted to pass this class, so she settled in to her evil lair, and waited for a superhero to show up.

Sulley stepped through the door and found that his costume wasn't so much a costume as a cape since nothing else would really fit him. "Hello?" He was still working on the stealth thing.

Will was in the middle of pulling off cape #3 when she heard a familiar voice echo through the hallways. She leaned over to check the monitor, and saw Super Sulley entering the hallway.

There was a moment of debating whether or not she should be trying to defeat her huge little brother, before she decided to unleash the henchmen. For his own good. And her class mark.

(Okiedokie. I have to sign off early tonight (my time) because I have a class at crazy o'clock in the morning tomorrow, but I'm willing to keep SP threading until we finish.)

Cassandra kicks the door to the villain's control room open and charged into the room looking for whoever it is that she was supposed to interrogate. In classic super-hero fashion She'd had some sort of costume change between the last panel and this one: now she was wearing really (really) short shorts and a sort of tube top.

The sudden costume change brought her up short with a frown of consternation.

Teddy, who had not found a sandwich anywhere sadly, just froze and stared. "Um... wow. Did you want to borrow my cape or something?"

And he though Kate's costume was bad...

If she weren't locked into business mode (evidenced by the blank expression on her face), Cassandra would probably have blushed a bit and thanked him for the offer. Instead she stalked across the room toward him (an impressive feat in those clothes).

"Tell me the secret of your new doomsday weapon," she demanded. It was pretty obvious that she was quoting, and had no idea what sort of doomsday weapon he had.
