The Arms Hotel Lobby, Tuesday

Last week had been an amazing victory for the union. Jeff hadn't heard a word from Gunther since he arrived, there was a television set up and he had the specials board. This was shaping up to be the best week of his entire life.

He turned on the television to find The Pipe Organ already running. Ooo. Holly Hunter was naked for most of that!

He settled in to watch.

~~Moddable~~ Gunther probably won't be in too good a mood, but he's no longer allowed to protest.

If you can tear him away from the television. He's waiting for the good bits.

Rikku pimp-strutted up to the counter and nodded at Jeff.

"Me 'n my baby here need a room. Something stylin'."

Jeff looked away from the television for about five seconds. "Not now," he whispered, "She's just finally gotten naked."

"Oooh, really?" Jude perked up, and then remembered his character and falsettoed, "I mean, ooooh, really?"

"Hey now," Rikku said, in an un-pimp-like voice. And then she cleared her throat. "I mean, we's payin', we gots to get us a room. And watch it, ho, 'fore you ain't seein' no real-life naked ladies for a while."

"Shhh!" Jeff wasn't paying any attention at all. He just reached back automatically and pulled out a room key. "Don't talk while Holly Hunter's naked! It's disrespectful!"

"Sorry, Big Daddy," Jude breathed, still trying to get a glimpse of naked Holly Hunter without being obvious about it.

"Fine," Rikku said airily, in a very non-pimp voice. "I'll just go upstairs and take my clothes off and be naked all by myself."

Okay, she couldn't do that without a room key, but those were details.

And that got Jeff's attention. His gaze snapped away from the television and to Rikku as if he'd been burned. "Did you say naked?" he asked, reverently.

That made Jude break character too, and he scowled. "Hey, dude. None of your business."

Well! That certainly broke the ice.

"We need a room," Rikku said cheerfully. "I can't get naked here."

Jeff gave her a room key quicker than you could possibly imagine.

He was so going to call that room tonight.

"Thanks, bro," Jude said with a possessive, manly sort of glare.

Which lost most of its effect because of the, you know, drag.

"Awesome!" Rikku bounced. "It's our anniversary. We're pimp-and-ho-ing. Oh! Uh. Have fun with your naked lady!"

She wrapped an arm around Jude and dragged him out of the lobby.

Well. Considering she'd mentioned being naked, she probably didn't have to drag him.

Nana is sulkier than usual. Be wary of biting. The rest of the hotel staff is taking great care to avoid her.
