Luke's Diner, Tuesday (September 18)

Yitzhak was seriously starting to wonder about the Post-It Note supply in the diner, and he'd been in Fandom long enough to suspect that maybe there was some kind of paper-eating monster skulking about.

That would be why, much to the staff's amusement (though they were careful to duck out of the way every time he looked around, so he wouldn't see them laughing), he was stalking around with a large barbecue fork and a suspicious expression, peering into corners and under tables.

Luke's is open -- unless you're a paper-eating monster.

Jude sashayed into the diner in full and surprisingly convincing drag, wiggling his fingers at his boss.

Yitzhak nearly dropped the barbecue fork in surprise -- not at the fact that his employee was in drag, more at the fact that he did it so well.

One eyebrow shot nearly up into his bandanna, and he gestured with one hand to tell Jude that he was so getting a raise.

Jude grinned and clasped his hands under his chin in joy, flouncing over to drop a kiss on Yitzhak's cheek.

. . . okay, he was totally getting into this.

Oh, hell. Yitzhak couldn't let this sort of thing happen without getting into the spirit himself.

So of course he had to whip it out.

. . . the emergency wig he kept beneath the counter, of course.

Putting it on his head, he proceeded to do a rather fabulous Rockette-style series of high kicks around Jude.

Rikku sauntered in to see - her Jude-dude and another guy in drag, doing leg-kicks.

She leaned heavily on her pimp-cane and grinned. "You ain't gettin' no idea 'bout my little woman, are you?"

"Ooooh, don't worry, bra - I mean, Pimp Daddy R!" Jude giggled, executing a high kick or two of his own.

Yes, he was wearing the appropriate undergarments.

Ah-hem.

So, so definitely getting a raise.

Yitzhak turned and gave Rikku the best 'pssh, whatever' look he could manage while high-kicking it up in style.

Which . . . considering it was Yitzhak, was actually a pretty good one.

Rikku grinned. "You got nice legs. You ever wanna sell it? You come talk to me. I take care of my ladies."

Judy pouted. "Baby, I'm not enough for you?"

Trying valiantly not to giggle.

Yitzhak was not giggling.

Yitzhak did not giggle.

Yitzhak was, however, actually smiling as he did one last series of kicks with a flourish, so it amounted to pretty much the same thing.

He quirked an eyebrow at Rikku, a sort of canny sidelong look that said thanks, but he preferred to freelance.

"Can't blame a girl for askin'," Rikku grinned. "And baby, you know I loooove you, but you ain't 'lowed to sell it no mo'. I gots to get me more hos so I can pay my bills. Keep you in all that fancy stuff you like."

Jude laughed and quickly tried to turn it into an appropriately girly giggle. "I totally love you, Pimp Daddy R."

No, Yitzhak won't actually stab you. Unless you want him to, in which case, ping here.

*totally needs to get the boss a case of Post-Its for Christmas or something*
