Chilly Boulder - Wednesday, all day
A large sign in the window of the ice cream shop proclaimed that they were giving away free samples of a new flavor today.
Mixed in with their usual shipment of ingredients, the workers had found a box labeled 'Extra Special Pirate Rum'. Unlike some others in Fandom, their first instinct was to add it to ice cream and make rum raisin ice cream. Since the supply was limited, they couldn't add it to the regular menu and they decided to hold a one day promotion. If the flavor proved popular, they could request more of the rum from their ingredients supplier.
So, for one day only, Fandomites could receive a free one scoop cone of the new flavor.
From the way the workers were talking, it appeared as if they were getting into the theme for the day too. Unless, of course, there was another reason.
