Trooper Station - Friday

It had been a quiet week at the trooper station, yet somehow there was still plenty of paperwork to keep the sheriff busy. Roy was however happy with his decision to get the new couch in his office as it had already proven its worth. Even if he knew certain officers who would be rather displeased with him.

Said officers however were faraway in Central and couldn't lecture him about how it was not good practise to use paperwork as a foot cushion. Roy personally had never thought of a better use for it - except for burning, but that just led to more headaches trying to get things in order afterwards.

((With OCD today. So uh wait for it.))

The light in the station made Aly detour by after visiting Caritas. She raised an eyebrow at Roy as she leaned against his office doorframe. "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy," she commented.

Roy didn't move, his eyes still on the file resting in his lap. "I am never dull, miss Alianne," he said matter-of-fact.

"So you say," she teased. "Any yet you sit here on a Friday evening doing paperwork. I'm disappointed."

"Maybe I knew you were coming," he suggested, closing the report and finally looking up at her.

She raised an eyebrow. "Seeing as it was a spur of the moment decision...can you see the future?"

He grinned at her. "I don't have to, I just need to know you."

"So you left the light on to lure me," she replied, grinning back. "Figuring I'd be like a mosquito flying into it?"

"Yes, I'm just asking to be bitten," he deadpanned and he put his feet on the floor so he could clear up the space beside him on the couch.

Aly chuckled. "I'm sure we could find someone to bite you if you asked nicely."

Roy raised an eyebrow and dropped the stack of files to the left of the couch. "No, I'm sure it's fine."

She sighed. "If you insist. I thought it would be fun." She came in and flopped onto the newly cleared section of the couch. So what are you doing here so late? Other than rearranging paperwork."

"Mmmmm," he leaned his head back against the couch and rubbed at his eyes. "That would be about it. All very thriling. What about you?"

"I'm disappointed," Aly murmured teasingly. "You're not living up to my expectations here."

Roy chuckled and glanced at her. "And what exactly are your expectations?"
