The Park: Saturday morning [9-29-07]

Millie had no idea who she was or where she was, but there were lots of books and it was a lovely day, so she grabbed one of the first and headed out to enjoy the second.

She thought vaguely that perhaps she should be more concerned about not remembering anything, but somehow she managed to just put it aside to worry about later.

Leo strode along the park, enjoying the lovely morning. The words to a song he didn't know were running through his head.

"The sun is out, the sky is blue, it's beautiful, and so are you..." It'd been on the radio when he woke up that morning.

"Hi there." he waved to Millie. "How's it going?"

"Quite well," she said, smiling at the odd man.

"Far out." he smiled. "Hey, this might sound like a weird question, but do you know who I am?"

"Not a clue, I'm afraid," Millie said cheerfully. "In fact, I probably shouldn't be talking to you as I was always told not to talk to strangers."

"I probably shouldn't be talking to myself then." he chuckled. "Cause, I don't know who I am either."

Millie smiled at him, but pointed to her closed lips and didn't speak.

Leo laughed. "Okay have it your way Man. Be well."

Millie waved silently, but happily as he left.
