Bluth's Original Frozen Banana Stand, Friday, 10/12

George Michael was in awe. There were tiny people on horses trying to kill each other with big sticks. They were on his counter, making noises, grunting and he couldn't understand, and the horses were real because George Michael poked one. What the crap was going on here?

Was he on a hidden camera show? Was that real armor? Chain mail? Come on, were these knights? No way. He wondered if he could collect them in a jar and take them home. He wondered if Uncle GOB could use them in a magic show.

It would seem George Michael was wondering a lot of things this freaking cold afternoon.

Mary was there with her money. "One double dipped with nuts, please."

"Not bad. I've seen the little knights all over town today. It must be random Fandom weirdness. They're actually kind of cute, as long as they don't start singing," said Mary.

"Strange things just seem to happen around here," said Mary. "Last summer we had a day where you would hear music coming from nowhere at the strangest times. It wasn't any fun for me, though. I kept hearing 'Janie's Got A Gun' everywhere I went." She took a bite of her yummy banana, deciding that she wasn't going to bring up the weekend that dinosaurs invaded Fandom.

"You might not need to. They were all over my office at the hotel when I stopped in there this morning," said Mary. "And Janie's got a gun because she shot and killed her abusive father after no one else would stop him." There was no emotion on her face whatsoever as she said that.

Mary looked startled. "What? No, I never said that! I have no idea where my father is anyway. I ran away from home when I was 15 and I never heard from him again!" Which was only half the truth, because he contacted her four years ago with the news that he had remarried and had two more daughters.

Which, normally, Mary would have commented on. However, she was on the verge of freaking out, wondering if it was obvious that she was on the run from her past.

"Thanks for the banana. I should, um, get back to the hotel. Gunther might be getting ready to burn the place down."
