Trooper Station - Saturday

Roy doubted he was going to get an unexpected visitor at the station today, but he still had taken precautions. His desk was mostly clean, there were only two neat stacks on top of it. One pile that he still had to go through and another that was already done. The ball of rubber bands was nowhere to be seen as was any other form of distractions.

Quite frankly? It was boring and he tapped his fingers impatiently against the desk as he stared at the paper in front of him. At least he could take comfort in the fact that if anyone would dare to open one of the cabinets, they'd get caught in an avalanche of papers (the mess that to go somewhere after all).

And now he was pondering calling Ralph in here to see the look on his face if he did just that. Then Roy remembered the trooper rarely took off his helmet. There went his entertainment for the afternoon.

"Don't tell me you got a cleaner."

Look at that. There was a redhead in the doorway. A remarkably upbeat one, at that.

Kerrigan gave the room a theatrical once-over. "Scary."

"You should see the cobwebs at my place," she countered, amused. And stalked further into the office.

Kerrigan balanced one hand on the back of the chair, then slipped into it. "No, it just means you should give me the number of your cleaner," she replied.

She just smirked. "Common courtesy works."

"Nah," she segued, dryly. "I'm told the cobwebs add character."

"Better to have more than less, I'd say."

"Didn't have any of my own," Kerrigan replied, leaning back in her chair. "Although the sheer level of crazy amongst some of these parents is a little worrying."

"Did the Lieutenant come back?" Ed asked, lounging in the doorway of Roy's office.

"Nah," he said, waving it off. "But I figured there had to be something you were scared off if your office was clean."

"WHO'RE YOU CALLING SO DAMN TINY THEY COULDN'T REACH THE PAPERS ANYWAY?" Ed flailed at him, automatically pissed.

Ed frowned mightily, his hands itching to get his own back. "DAMMIT, MUSTANG. JUST BECAUSE YOU"RE AFRAID OF A GIRL."

"You're just the one that cleaned his whole office cause a girl raised her eyebrow," he snapped back.

"I WOULD KISS A GIRL IF I WANTED TO," Ed flailed at Roy. "JUST BECAUSE WE'RE ALL NOT OBSESSED!"
