Pixie Dust, Tuesday

Blackheart was a wee bunny. While Cher found this completely weird, she'd emptied out a container of hair accessories to put him inside to keep him from getting into everything, which didn't seem to make him any happier. Still, it didn't stop her from cooing and occasionally peering at him in case she saw eyeliner or something.

She might have been staying a little late today, too, just to give out candy to any trick or treaters. Actual candy. Good candy. Because Halloween was an acceptable splurge day, diets be damned.

Pixie Dust was open.

Ino wandered in, fairly early, carrying a pair of wings in one hand. A bag dangled in her other and she was frowning slightly. "Cher? You in?"

"Yeah!" Cher said, almost startled when she looked up. "Hi, Ino. Blackheart's a bunny!"

"A bunny?" Ino asked, amused. "I don't think I've met him before though - he's a student right?" She hefted her wings and wandered over to look.

"Yep," she said, patting the top of the container lightly. "It's Fandom. I guess this stuff happens. I'm okay with the weird stuff as long as it's adorable. He almost looks like he's pouting."

"And bunnies are really adorable." Ino grinned, peeking at Blackheart. "He's totally pouting."

"I'm going to take so many pictures," she decided, looking back to Ino. "Cool wings."

"Thanks." Ino made a face, "Too bad I've got to wear them with pig ears and nose. Oh, tail too."

"...On purpose?"

"It's a dare." Ino looked wicked, "On the other hand, he's got to wear a female nurse uniform. I figure it's a sacrafice I can stand to make."

"I want pictures," she said immediately. "Unless he looks gross in it. Then it's not amusing."

"It's amusing." Ino assured her, "Hilarious even, and he doesn't look gross. Just... bizarre."

"So why a bet?" she wondered, idly dropping a single Smartie into the container, wondering if Blackheart would eat it.

Ino shrugged, "We're sorta dating? And he said I didn't have the guts to do it. I took him up on it."

"Well congratulations," Cher siad. "I think you totally got the better end of the deal here."

"To be fair," Ino said, "he picked my costume out first. He might have picked something worse for me to wear if he'd known about the nurse outfit first."

"Doesn't change the better end of the deal thing. It's your victory to lord as you please," she said.

That made Ino laugh. "I'll do a bit of lording," she admitted, "can't help it when the situation is so perfect for it."

"So're you just showing off your costume or did you need help with something?" Cher asked.

"Just stopping by." Ino said with a smile, "Realized I hadn't talked to you for awhile."

"Aww, I'm so glad you did," Cher said, smiling. "It gets so boring in here sometimes. I might have started dressing the bunny up."

That made Ino glance at the bunny. "Somehow I don't think he'd like that much," she leaned forward and said in a stage whisper, "You totally should though."

"I think I'm obligated," Cher hissed back. "I've never even talked to him as a human. He will avoid me like the plague, guaranteed."

"I've never met him either." Ino grinned, still whispering, "But that would make it even better, don't you think?"

"I think he needs a barrette," she decided, grabbing one from the counter and clipping it on where it wouldn't hurt.

Well. It wouldn't hurt anything except his pride. Ino tried not to giggle too much but, yeah. Awwww. "Isn't he just darling?" Then she looked around the store, "He needs a ribbon. A shiny pink one or something."

Cher pointed to one of the containers that held them. "Do you think clip-on earrings would hurt his little bunny ears?"

Ino cheerfully started going through the ribbon container. There were so many to chose from! She looked at the bunny. "I don't think they'd be too bad as long as the clip-on's were really light. Maybe just studs?"

For those stopping by to beg for candy.

Annette bounced in, not literally, okay kind of. "Trick or Treat!"

"Always a classic," Cher greeted her, grinning as she got out the candy bag. "I definitely approve."

"Thank you, Cher!" Annette grinned and held open her bag. "I figured I would go for a little skin, make Dick happy." Not dirty.

Dropping a handful into the bag, she said, "Sometimes you just need the opposite of mystery going for you. Hope it works."

Rikku and Peter were on a roll! Only not so much with the rolling, as they had weaponry.

"Trick or treat!" they yelled as they walked in.

"You know, this loses a little something when you don't open the door yourself," Cher decided, but pulled the bag of candy onto the counter anyway.

"I've never been in here before, so I wanted to see what it looked like inside," Peter said, holding out his candy bag.

"I dragged Sokka in here once!" Rikku said. "To get an outfit for Homecoming! So he wouldn't wear his pimp-suit! I have nothing against pimp suits but they're not really for Homecoming! Whoa, I think the sugar is kicking in!!!"

"I can hear your exclamation points," Cher said, looking alarmed as she put candy in their bags. "You might want to lay off a little until you get back to the dorms."

"It's probably for the best that she learn the hard way," Peter said. "By the end of the night she'll be all wiped out and she'll know better for next year."

"I got hopped up on sugar and Jolt once," Rikku admitted. "I kinda didn't sleep for a while? And then FOOM. I crashed out later. It was seriously fun."

"You'd better be careful," Cher advised. "Your pancreas will thank you later if you are."

Omg I woke up all awake today. It's freaking me out.
