As it was Friday River was seated behind the desk in the Arms Hotel. She was once again making origami animals, this time little frogs. Some of them were being eaten by big frogs.

"Hi River!" said Mary. She was still very happy from Halloween night.

"Hello." River grinned at Mary, getting a good idea on why Halloween still made Mary happy ~~even if the mun hasn't caught up on Halloween stuff, woe.~~ She offered Mary an origami frog, saving it from the jaws of a giant frog.

Mary hadn't stopped smiling since getting dressed in her French maid outfit and showing up at George Michael's room for "turndown service." It had been a very enjoyable evening for both of them with the promise of a lot more to come.

"I wanted to get your opinion on something," said Mary, pulling out the article on naked sleepwalkers (http://tinyurl.com/2k4kcf) that she showed Jeff the other day. "Apparently a lot of hotels are having problems with sleepwalkers showing up naked in the lobby. I thought it might be a good idea to figure out how to handle it before it actually happens here."

River let out a giggle, as the image of Mary in a French maid outfit and George Michael amused her a lot.

The article made her frown, however. "Jeff might have a breakdown," she said. "Am not alarmed by nudity myself, but perhaps we need a fruitbowl."

"A fruitbowl," repeated Mary, jotting that down in her notes. She wasn't entirely sure how a fruitbowl would help in a nude sleepwalker situation, but she valued River's input.

"With big bananas," River added helpfully. Perhaps it was just Mary's thoughts of George Michael that had got her thinking of that. "Covers most things."

"That might depend on how big the banana is," replied Mary with a huge smile.

"True." River said, managing to look perfectly serious. "But only the biggest one should be eligible for the fruitbowl."

"Note: go looking for one big banana for fruitbowl," Mary said aloud as she added it to her notes. Maybe another visit to the banana stand was in order.

"Perhaps more than one," River suggested. "You never know how many there will be." For some reason there was a wide smile on her face.

There was room for only one banana in her life. "There's plenty of other fruit as well," said Mary. "Apples, oranges, lemons. You know. Other stuff than just bananas."

River gave her a serious look. "Not just bananas, I know. Perhaps we should get melons as well. In pairs."

"That would need a very big fruitbowl," said Mary, snickering.

River nodded. "Make sure to find a big fruitbowl," she replied, then raised an eyebrow. "Does the banana stand offer big bananas?"

Mary blushed a little bit. "I think you can order them in small, medium and large," she said.

River nodded thoughtfully. "Large is more value for money?"

"Guess so. I haven't exactly worked out the cost," said Mary.

There was just a warm and slightly enigmatic smile in reply to that.

Whatever you do in a hotel.

I hear it's good.
