Why, yes, that was a section of the counter covered with black and white strips of construction paper to look like a piano. And yes, that was Yitzhak in a flaming red wig, playing air piano at the counter while straddling a stool in such a way that the kitchen staff was compulsively looking away, for fear of GOING BLIND.

A shame they couldn't appreciate the fabulous style, but there you had it.

. . . it sort of struck me on the way in to work today that Tori Amos has a crazy lot of songs titled after edible items.
