Wellspring Arms & Meditation Center, Monday
For the first time since he'd arrived on the island, Cable was... distracted... from the mess building up at home. There was something worrying about the previous day's encounter. Not enough to keep him from slapping the Open sign on the door and settling in for the day.
But enough to unsettle his mind.
With this in mind, he was a little more serious (if that was possible) today, quietly working through forms and books on his desk.

Talk to Cable
Re: Talk to Cable
Probably plotting something too.
"You still have my DVDs," Wade said, hopping up to sit on the counter.
Re: Talk to Cable
Oh, look. A DVD box, sitting atop a case of slightly oversized weaponry just to Wade's left.
Some things were mildly easy to predict, after all.

It still was a vague statement. It just didn't much sound like one. Especially not considering the expression on his face.
Re: Talk to Cable
"You are no fun at all. You could at least pretend to enjoy it."

...And suddenly, it was Christmas. Not that Sokka knew what Christmas was, but there was that same look of gleeful delight in the eyes of this child. The only way he could POSSIBLY be happier would be if he walked into Wonka's.
"You sell GUNS here?!?!?!" he asked excitedly.
Re: Talk to Cable
Which, by the looks of it, was very.
Re: Talk to Cable
He dashed around the store, looking excitedly at the big, impressive-looking guns... The machine guns. The submachine guns. The ones that looked like they meant BUSINESS. And then he pulled a wad of bills out of his pocket and counted it sadly.
He headed back to Cable. "...I don't suppose I could get something on credit?"
Re: Talk to Cable
It was a single syllable, but it contained so very, very much.
Re: Talk to Cable
"This one, then."

"I'm proficient with various handguns, shotguns, and semi-automatic weapons," he responded, hoping he sounded confident enough. "Not so much with rifles, though, but I'm not really a rifle kind of guy. I've practiced in the shooting range a lot."
This guy was friends with Pajama Man, right? "Deadpool let us use guns all the time."

His eyes flicked up again for a moment, but finally settled on the paperwork.
